1. Kevin Kelly/Nick Kiniski v Jake Milliman/Van Van Horne

This was just 4 minutes, and Kiniski is really lousy. Kelly has a good creepo vibe and looks OK here. Milliman is a blast, as he's short and squat and takes weird bumps but isn't in too much. Van Horne was a bad FIP.

2. Steve O/Ricky Rice v Dennis Stamp/Destroyer Samoan

Match went about 5 minutes, with nobody looking very good. Steve O looked downright awful at times, though he did sell his fist nicely after punching Destroyer. Stamp looked clueless in spots, at one point dragging Steve O over to Destroyer, and the Samoan leans his head in so that Stamp can throw Steve's head into the hard Samoan head, but Stamp gets confused about what to do, so just stands there for a few seconds, then tries to tag out. sigh. Blowjobs win.

3. Billy Jack Strong v Tom Stone – Strong is better known as Steve DiSalvo in Calgary, and Steve Strong in the old Montreal territory

Strong was all bloated up muscle and shrunken roid penis (awkwardly showing too much through his trunks). This somehow went 4 minutes. Stone was game and had some nice forearms, but this was a Strong "showcase" to see what simple moves he could execute sloppiest. He almost falls off the ropes doing a corner 10-punch (only making it to 1 punch) then doing a super sloppy DDT. Bad sideslams galore. He finished with a tombstone which had me praying for Tom Stone, but he pulled that off OK. Bleccch.

4. Soldat Ustinov v Dennis Stamp

2 minute match with neither guy looking very good. Stamp ran into a boot for the loss. This episode needs a 3rd Dennis Stamp match.

5. The Original Midnight Express v The Midnight Rockers – AWA tag title. Fresh off their one-day stay in the WWF, the Rockers take the belts from Paul E. Dangerously’s crew

This goes 14 minutes and despite the semi-blown finish this was good tag action. Michaels was a good FIP and Condrey was an awesome stooge. Rose is a really sleazy looking guy. MX spend the match working over Michael's back. The more things change, right? Finish is a jumble of Heyman interference, two referees, and a botched 3 count. But this was an engaging 14 minutes of tag action. Condrey sold an atomic drop awesome and took a big bump to the floor. Jannetty really held both of them up in the atomic drops really impressively, almost Backlundesque.

Kevin Kelly/Nick Kiniski v Jake Milliman/Van Van Horne

I was pretty high on the idea of a guy being named Van Van Horne. Nothing else to say really.

Steve O/Ricky Rice v Dennis Stamp/Destroyer Samoan

There is some funny stuff in this like Stamp and the Samoan not understanding how to do basic double team offense, Rick flubbing shit and looking genuinely excited when he executes shit correctly, the Samoan botching a stomp (seriously). I actually thought Steve O was clearly the best guy in this. That's not saying much really but still.

Billy Jack Strong v Tom Stone

This is a contest between a poor man's Outlaw Joe Gomez and a poor man's Bob Cook. Seriously.

Wahoo sitdown with Bill Apter. I could see this as an EXTRA

Soldat Ustinov v Dennis Stamp

This was not much at all.

Midnight Rockers v. Original Midnight Express

Nominated already.
