* Did he and Hawk prefer to work with a bumping team like the Midnights, or instead with other power teams like the Steiners?

* Cornette has said that he thinks the Skywalkers match is probably the most famous match of the Crockett era. Does Animal agree? Is that the one people tend to ask about the most?

* Some talk about the lack of tough guys in modern wrestling (meaning those that fans don't just see as stars, but also as guys who are intimidating) would be interesting too, however you want to phrase it.

* Is modern wrestling missing the boat by not pushing tag teams in a headlining position? Has he ever had a conversation with Vince or anyone in power in WWE on why they don't really push tag teams at the top of the cards?

Ask him about working the Mid-South taping in August 1983 where the Roadies had to sell for Duggan & Magnum then play stooges for DiBiase in his loser leaves town match Duggan which was right in the middle of their superpush on TBS. Basically what was it like going from working TV for Ole to TV for Watts.

Also how serious was the talk of them supposedly moving to Memphis in early 1984 but Ole nixing the idea.

I'd be interested in hearing more about his thoughts on his last WWE run with Hawk (thoughts on teaming with Ahmed Johnson at WrestleMania 13, putting over the New Age Outlaws, short-lived break up angle with Hawk, Droz being added to the team, art imitating life with the drug addict angle, Hawk's "suicide" angle on Raw, etc).

Had some live listeners but no calls, I'm guessing owing to the time of day at least partially. Anyway, the archive/download is up now. Went well for the most part, though unfortunately I accidentally became the one to tell him Oliver Humperdink died when talking about him being a shoot manager like Paul Ellering (and Gary Hart). He told me not to feel bad about having told him with no buildup (especially since he was in a hospice I would think) and that "that's the business."

When was the "Baba loans them to New Japan" thing? His timelines are all over the place. Which is understandable given that their career was such a sprint.

1990 was when that all actually went down. Doc was a regular for both companies for a good part of the year before fully transitioning to AJPW and the Road Warriors did a few shots between WCW and the WWF. There may be more guys I'm forgetting.

Not sure if the Roadies stuff made TV or Classics but there's a handheld of one match.

I think I knew about all of the others but who did Gordy work in NJPW?

Meltzer had an interesting story about this period in Bigelow's obit: Baba didn't bring him back because he counted his money in front of him. Bigelow hadn't been taught that Baba was trustworthy, so being used to Inoki, he counted his money before leaving the room.
