This starts off right away with Assassin attacking the arm so no boring McGhee offense to start the match. Seriously, I can watch this all day with Assassin deciding which way he wants to destroy the arm… Shoulder into the ringpost? Check. Hammerlock bodyslam? Check. When the tides turn and McGhee is attacking Assassin, he does so with gusto. I really had him wrong in that tag. These two singles matches have been really fun with the Wiskowski match being smart and this one being nasty. Nomination. Lynch 11.1
June 1, 201114 yr comment_5472286 I liked this better than the Wiskowski match, because the intensity was more palpable throughout. I dug McGhee's desperation dropkick to fight off Assassin's final assault. I wasn't crazy about the stoppage finish, given the brevity of the match. But I guess Assassin's savaging of the cut seemed brutal enough to merit it. Low-level nomination.
