We don't really get any Cien v. MA2K or much Chicana. El Satanico vs. Gran Cochisse - Mexican Title (9/14/84) This really was tremendous, the early matwork especially was some of the best stuff I have seen,it isn't as fancy as the Solar/Navarro stuff, but the struggle and fight in everything they did was great. Satanico was amazing of course, but this really made me want to see more Cochisse too. I don't know if I will end up putting this ahead of some of the really bloody hair matches, but I can't imagine it dropping out of a top 5. Sangre Chicana vs. MS1 - Hair Match (9/21/84) Not at the level of their 1983 match, although few things in wrestling history are. Bloodless, which is a little weird, and more cool spots and moments then hideous violence. The cool spots and moments were fucking cool spots and moments, there was an awesome moment where Chicana side stepped a kick and landed his awesome hook, and there was some crowd clearing dives. It will be interesting to see where this finishes, 1983 will be #1, and I am wondering whether this placement will be helped or hurt in comparison Atlantis/Ringo Mendoza/Tony Salazar vs. Los Infernales (El Satanico/MS1/Espectro Jr.) (10/84) Really solid trios match with everyone working hard. The Satanico v. Atlantis exchanges really put it over the top as they just rip into each other, moving a million miles an hour with impact and violence with everything they do. Nomination

El Satanico vs. Gran Cochisse - Mexican Title (9/14/84) I'll actually take the Cochisse praise a step further and say I thought he actually looked like the better guy in this match, and not for a lack of effort on Satanico's part, either. I don't see myself rating it as high as Phil or OJ, but it's a phenomenal lucha title match, with all the style entails, courtesy of all-time great Satanico and criminally underlooked Cochisse. Easy inclusion. Sangre Chicana vs. MS1 - Hair Match (9/21/84) I haven't the '83 match in a few years, so I'd like to think I'm watching this relatively free of the inevitable comparisons one would make to it's more famous, highly-acclaimed brother. And well, accepted on it's own merits, this is a top shelf match. Bloodless, sure, and I suppose that will hurt it overall, but I don't think this was lacking in brutality at all. Sangre Chicana is a man who knows how to make a tope look angry, that's for damn sure. We'll judge where it ranks in comparison to the '83 match later. Right now, the important thing is that this is a slam dunk nomination. Atlantis/Ringo Mendoza/Tony Salazar vs. Los Infernales (El Satanico/MS1/Espectro Jr.) (10/84) Yeah, this was a lot of fun. The Infernales were in classic form, weaving the rudo trio magic that they weave so well. Atlantis comes up big, too, and I thought Salazar had a really good showing here, too. Solid nomination.
