Oliver, Assassin & Wiskowski vs. Rose, Borne & Hennig

- 1st fall, extended face hine with all three faces cutting the ring off and abusing Oliver. Eventually, Hennig gets caught and becomes FIP. Hennig is such a great babyface. However, the actual moves aren’t that exciting but the story is that the heels are taking out Hennig’s leg and when he mounts a comeback, they can take out the leg. However, in a fitting end, Hennig gets taken out and submits to a Spinning toe Hold from the Assassin. Solid 1st fall.

- Sweet, Hennig is frantically trying to make the tag in the 2nd fall but the heels punish and abuse that leg and Hennig is really great at sellin, unlike his over-comical bumps and selling later on. Curt finally reverses a leglock from Oliver, gets to his corner where Oliver makes the mistake of getting too close and Borne and Rose take Oliver out with a RNR double drokick and Hennig gets the fall!!! Nice end to that 2nd fall.

- Coming back after the break, Oliver is still selling the jaw from the dropkick and bitching at the refer. That is some common sense shit. God, wrestlers should be so smart nowadays. Oh shit, with Buddy in he just attacks the fucking jaw. Sell it and I shall attack it. So great. Man, this ass kicking of Oliver is ten different ways of great. However, a blow to the gut gives the heels to the edge and they start abusing Rose’s mid section and back. This is wrestling heaven for me. Nice end run with Borne and Oliver (Borne has some sweet punches) and a sick shot to the throat gives the heels the win. Easy freaking nomination.

I enjoyed the babyfaces bumping Oliver around to start the match. The tide-turning attack on Henning's leg was so-so, but he did a great job selling it and mixing in hope spots before submitting. More of the same to start the second fall, and I really dug the twist on the usual hot tag formula. Instead of actually tagging out, Henning steered Oliver close enough for a double dropkick from Borne and Rose and took the fall himself. The third fall was fun as well, with nasty shots flying back and forth, but Henning-in-peril was the highlight of the match. Definite nomination.

The crowd is really hot for faces here, especially Borne. Agree about the greatness of Oliver's big bumps and the faces interplay with him. Hennig has such great strikes. Cool change of pace as Hennig gets clipped and the heels attack his leg. Wiskowski does this awesome snapping leg lock thing that looked like it crushed his femur. Oliver locks on a really sick looking toehold and Hennig tries to fight out but gets cut down with Assassin hitting a diving headbutt to the knee. Hennig with another great hope spot as he throws nasty punches at Ed, who cuts him off with a shinbreaker. Curt gives up to the spinning toehold on the second go round for a good ending to a good fall.

Second fall opens great with Assassin desperately clinging to Curt's leg and taking him back down and Oliver locking on a half crab. Good strike exchange with Wiskowski bumping down, but he slaps Curt down into the mat and punts him in the knee. Hennig ends up throwing these great double sledge shots for another quality hope spot but the heels are staying on the leg. Fucking great end to the fall as Hennig throws a home run punch knocking Oliver into the corner. Buddy/Borne come in and hit a double drop kick and Hennig falls on top for the pin. Cool shit.

Third fall starts so awesome as the faces are back on the attack on Oliver who is great taking all of the abuse, including wheelbarrow position punts from Buddy, dropkicks, et. Sure enough the heels come back by attacking Buddy's guts. Brief peril section and Buddy tags in Borne who hits some huge shots on Rip. Finish to the fall was not out of the world, but this was a really good match over all.
