I'm not sure which year this is from, but it's one of my favourite trios matches.

The Mendoza/Satanico exchanges in this match are awesome. Satanico is the guy who I'm figuring will be the Fujiwara or Murdoch of this set and this was one of his best performances. What sets this match apart from a lot of other trios footage is that the technico side is strong, so you get a lot of great exchanges one after the other besides the central awesomeness of Mendoza v. Satanico.

I think this is more a match with great exchanges, then a really great match. Match with great exchanges will certainly make a set, and may even finish high, but I didn't like this as much as OJ. Still fucking Satanico is unreal here. I also liked Ultraman a bunch, although I kept expecting him to unleash his awesome punch combos, which I guess is more of a 21st century thing. Still I thought the ending was a bit flat, and Maskare did very little for me.

Always excited to see the infernales, and this was a solid trios match, with everyone looking good. Neat to see Ultraman here, as he doesn't show up a ton in CMLL and he is agile and awesome in this match. Felt cuspish until the epic back and forth punch exchange between Satanico and Ringo which pushed it over the top for me. We got a nifty post match brawl with Pirata running in and attacking his ex teamates.

Los Infernales (Masakre/MS-1/Satanico) vs. Atlantis/Ringo Mendoza/Ultraman (September 1986)

Fun seeing Ultraman here and he's fired up which is nice. I really dug the Ringo/Satanico exchanges here while the Atlantis/MS-1 section wasn't bad either. Atlantis hit a sweet somersault plancha on MS-1 to take the 1st fall. Ultraman was interesting here as he didn't stay in long but when he came in he looked great. Infernales finally got their teamwork going in the 2nd fall and pushed them to taking it to even the odds then following it up with a strong start to the 3rd fall until Ultraman kicked off the comeback brawling with Masakre followed up by Ringo & Satanico having an awesome punching exchange. The rudos start going for masks so Ultraman goes wild fighting them off before Atlantis could do the same as the pace has intensified. The Infernales were too strong though and finished the tecnicos off easily until Pirata Morgan who was in the next match comes out and jumps Satanico as he is pissed about being kicked out of the Infernales with this setting up their hair match coming up. This was a really damn good match and I think it moves forward fairly easily.
