So I was talking to Will earlier today about how the term "Flair match" gets thrown around too much, but this is pretty much a Flair match. Flair cheating, showing his ass, eating press slams, theatrical selling, getting into a shoving match with the ref, et. This may have been clipped though I don't know where the clipping would have been done. Anyhow there were some cool moments in this, but I don't see it as a serious contender.

This was standard Flair vs. muscular babyface, which was an effective formula but not one I'm excited to watch unless it's a high-end version. Billy really shouldn't have thrown chops in a Flair match, because the comparison did not flatter him. This must've been clipped, right? Did we even see how Flair got busted open? Billy didn't get the full nelson on early enough for the crowd to get excited as they reached the time limit. We've learned from previous '80s sets that people love touring champ Flair. But given the apparent clip and the unremarkable work, I'm fine leaving this off.
