Awesome long title match, which may be the longest Bullet match I have seen. Rich is great as a sleazy heel bumping around for all of Armstrongs stuf, stalling jawjacking. When he does get the advantage he does some great hiding of an object.We even get the patented 0-60 Tommy Rich blade job. Finish has a bumped ref which leads to a run in from the Harley Davidson crew.

 

The Tommy Rich Story

I absolutely LOVE Rich getting busted with the chain pre-match and The Bullet lighting him up. Rich's theatrical bumping, stalling, jawing, et is so great early on and The Bullet knows how to milk the heat for everything it's worth. Awesome stuff with Rich smuggling a piece of rope from the floor into the ring and using it to take over. The guest ref is one of the announcers and the the other announcers do a good job getting over how easily duped he was by Rich's tactics. Phil is dead right about Tommy's smirk which is really great and I really liked how they laid this out as there was an extended shine, with teased Rich heat segments, then an extended heat section, with your standard teased comebacks done better than most matches. Bullet does a great job selling the damage even off of his comeback and I really liked the big bumps that Rich took off the missed fistdrop and the big posting on the flooring. Everything from this point forward is awesome as I thought the ref bump looked better than normal, Rich bled a gusher, bikers run in, et. Really, really good match.
