This starts with a TNT video which is followed up by a Carlos Colon video.

Next get clips of an Invader/Jason the Terrible match with Invader stealing the mask and using it to bloody Jason.

Then we get a Brody/Abby feud video.

Next we get a video with the tecnicos sitting in the dressing room talking about watching Carlos Colon's back with Hercules Ayala as the ringleader which you know what that would mean.

TNT vs. Scott Levy (May 1987) Yep this is the future Raven getting squashed.

The Bruise Brothers (Dan & Stan Bruise) vs. Carlos Ocasio & Armando Salgado (May 1987) No idea on who these guys were but they were white and from the south.

Hercules Ayala vs. Random white guy (May 1987) Ayala is now a rudo and this is a squash.

Then we get a Tom Renesto promo talking about rules of WWC title matches changing.

Next we get clips of another Invader/Jason match.

The music videos on the front end of this might make good Extras. Question for Boricua - is Colon considered a good promo?

Clips of Invader/Jason are interesting because it's basically a coal miners glove match but with Jason's mask on the pole. They don't show enough of the build or the teases for the match for this to be a nomination, but what they show is really heated and in my opinion good. I would say this deserves to be on as an EXTRA especially if the argument goes that this was a meaningful feud.

Brody/Abby feud video could be an EXTRA

The bit with Ayala in a suit would have been interesting if I spoke Spanish. It's a really long segment and probably an easy EXTRA - if you speak Spanish :(

TNT squashes that piece of shit Raven was fun.

Renesto rules change promo was interesting.

Invader 1 v. Jason The Terrible

JIP. This starts out on the floor with Jason mauling Invader and running him through a crowd of pissed off fans. Jason controls the match and has Invader on the ropes when we go to a break. Back from the break Invader makes a run, including a cool spot where he jumped off of the elevated platform the ring was on and hit Invader with a forearm. I thought it was cool that they teased Invader getting the mask off and actually used it as a hopespot. Jason is a weird dude in that he can be really dull, but also super exciting. Here he was more exciting than dull as he hit some cool offense. Unfortunately the roll up win was really unsatisfying and there were only about five minutes of this shown. STill this could be an EXTRA

I'd say Carlos Colon as a promo is solid to good depending on the situation. Among the wrestlers down here, the only ones from the 80's that I'm pretty sure would be ranked higher than him in terms of promos (if you were to do a poll) would be Chicky Starr and Invader 1.

Invader vs. Jason is one of the more remembered feuds from the 80's. Here's a recap video of some of the feud from 1987:

This video covers part of their feud post TV title win for Jason, which doesn't include their matches from the end of 1986. All told, it looks like there are clips of six different matches, including a mask on pole and a lumberjack match. Jason was brought in by Chicky Starr to put Invader out of wrestling, so Jason's main focus was Invader. Jason won the TV title from Invader Jan. 17 and he lost it 3 months later (Apr. 18) to Invader 1.

Is this the Ayala segment?

If it is, I have a translated transcription for it. Let me know and I'll post it here.

OK, here's the segment:

Ejercito de la Justicia Meeting with Hercules Ayala - April 1987

Hugo starts speaking at the 1:00 mark.

HS: TV viewer friends, with pride and as always is my worry, no matter what we have to do to ensure that you in your homes are always informed of what's going on in wrestling. I want to publicly thank all of the tecnico wrestlers, a very true thanks, for allowing our cameras to be present for what you are about to see shortly. The meeting of El ejercito de la Justicia. Thank you very much tecnico wrestlers, for being so kind with the fans and with us here at Capitol TV. Let's go ahead with the meeting of El Ejercito de la Justicia.

At !:30 we see the entire Ejercito de la Justicia in a meeting room. Hercules Ayala is at the end of the table with Carlos Colon and Invader 1 flanking him. Also present are Super Medico, Invader 3, Huracan Castillo Jr., Miguelito Perez and the Youngbloods.

Carlos (at 1:31): The reason we are meeting here today is, Hercules, we all know you and we know you as a serious person, a man of his word and of integrity. But lately there are some things happening in wrestling that have us as well as the fans worried. And I would like..., we would all like for you to be sincere and tell us your position, and if you are not happy here to tell us, because this army has to be united.

Hercules (at 1:53): Well, shoot, Carlos, let me explain something to you. I don't know what you are talking to me about, we are always united. So what you are talking to me about and of wanting an explanation, I don't know what to tell you because I really don't know.

Carlos (at 2:03): Well, to be clearer I'm going to refresh your memory a bit. The time I faced Stan Hansen in the cage and Chicky Starr invaded the ring with all of his wrestler, all of our comrades here went out there, and the only one absent was you. And if you want to see it, we have a tape here. Let's look at the monitor so you can be clear of what I'm talking about.

Everyone looks at the monitor as footage starts playing. Hugo narrates what's happening in the footage.

HS (at 2:26): Saturday March 14 at the Mets Pavilion in Guaynabo, in a cage Carlitos defended the Universal title against Stan Hansen. Finally he had the cowboy in the figure four leglock, no one could save him in the cage. But Chicky Starr and the wrestlers of his Sports Club tried to interfere and there was the Justice Army. Invader 1, Invader 3, Super Medico, the Youngbloods. All of the tecnico wrestlers came out to stop all of the the rudos that wanted to enter the cage. Carlitos could keep the pressure on as the Youngbloods, Invader 1, Invader 3, Super Medico. Keith Larson, and all the other tecnico wrestlers were busy stopping the rudos. It was this way that Carlitos was victorious and left the cage. Triumphant with his comrades in El Ejercito de la Justicia.

Hercules (3:17): Well now I can explain it to you Carlos. What happens is, when I get to the locker room or arena I like to train, warm up, I like to jump rope. And what happens is when I arrive, I like to go to the back and I warm up and do everything before my match.

Invader 1 (at 3:34): Well, look Ayala, a few weeks later when Carlos is taking on Jason, the same thing almost happened again. Chicky's troop gets involved again and we all go out there again. We saw ourselves in a bit of trouble. There you arrived, but you arrived a bit late when all of the rudos had already left for the locker room.

Hercules (at 3:56) Well, could you... explain that part to me?

Carlos: Sure, we can see that right here.

Invader 1: Let's watch it on the monitor. If you could do me the favor to show it here?

Again a video plays on the monitor with Hugo narrating.

HS (at 4:05): March 21, this past Saturday at the Mets Pavilion, match for the Universal title. The challenger Jason launches himself off the top rope but misses a suicide dive. Carlitos tries to recover. (At this point, they show a not pleased Hercules Ayala watching the video). The crowd enjoying this contest, the Universal title is at stake. There is the figure four, Carlitos' hold. The challenger finally falls in the hold. Carlitos had been trying to apply the hold throughout the match and finally Jason has fallen into it, trying to fight it off and about to submit. The bell is about to ring, but careful, in comes Killer Khalifa. There is Invader 1, part of El Ejercito de la Justicia. There is Invader 1 stopping Khalifa as the bell rings, the referee has stopped this contest due to a disqualification. In come Hefferman and Mendoza, things have gotten bad for the tecnicos. But here comes castillo Jr and Invader 3, El Ejercito de la Justicia has sprung into action to help Carlitos. We've got a full out brawl going on. More rudos have entered the ring, a big one has formed here friends. It's difficult to describe what is going on here. Eric Embry also trying to hurt Carlitos. The Youngbloods are also in to help, the big one has formed here friends. The action is red hot. Frankie "The Thumper" Lancaster is also in the ring. El Ejercito de la Justicia has come to Carlitos' aid. Carlitos is also standing, fighting fiercely. Friends, the action is red hot. Even Super Medico, who was not wrestling tonight, is in, he's taken his shirt off. Wow, what tremendous unity among the tecnicos, the rudos were not ready for this. Even Super Medico is in the ring helping Carlitos. El Ejercito de la Justicia making justice, an applause for these comrades of Carlos. They came in to save him. Carlitos retains the title by disqualification. The crowd is on its feet applauding this, the tecnico wrestlers that came in to help Carlitos. The rudos have not gotten away with it, because El Ejercito de la Justicia has been in action. The crowd is on its feet. Here comes Hercules Ayala, enters the ring. Carlitos puts on the title, Hercules Ayala enters. Invader 1 is scolding Hercules Ayala. Carlitos also has words for Hercules Ayala, I imagine its that that they are scolding him, Invader 1 and Carlitos bothered by something. Friends this is how this match concludes, tremendous action from El Ejercito de la Justicia.

Hercules (at 6:57): Well Invader, I will answer your question. See, when this problem happened I was busy doing something, I can't remember exactly what it was, but you know that I would never, and the fans know and all of you know, that I never go out of the locker room to watch the matches. So the moment the problem happened, I realize there is no one in the locker room, I go outside and I arrived late.

Miguelito (at 7:21): Yes, but also Ayala, in a match Carlitos was having with Jason in Cataño, again Carlitos was in trouble and we all went out. Why didn't you go out? (That would be this match from 3-25-87:

)

Huracan (at 7:33): Look Ayala, last week you were teaming up with Miguelito. And throughout the entire match Miguelito helped you out, and TNT had the opportunity to apply the Cobra Dinamita to Miguelito and you didn't help him. (That would be this tag match:

)

Hercules (at 7:46): Well, we are all human, all of us have our problems. I'll explain it to you. We are wrestlers, every one takes his lumps. I didn't feel like..., in my feeling and in my knowledge to do something. Miguelito knows I wrestled with him as a team and the crowd saw when I gave him my hand, he gave me his hand, and we fought together man to man. What happened, I don't know what to tell you, it wasn't in me. I want to tell you, each one of you, Carlitos, Invader 1 as well as all of you. I want you to not have any doubts about me, because I don't have any about any of you. I trust you (points at Carlos ), I trust you (points at Invader), I trust all of you (points at everyone else). Because that's how I am. I'm a serious person, I'm a person that when I say you are my friends, you are my friends here and wherever. And I want that if I trust in you, then I want you to trust in me. And I'm the first one to say that if we are in justice, let us be in justice.

At 8:45, Hercules stands up and holds out his arm. Everybody else stands up and they all huddle in unity.

"That sounds good." "That's what we want." "All of us united for El Ejercito de la Justicia." "United."

We cut to Hugo sitting in the now empty conference room.

Hugo (at 8:55): Friends, we have witnessed what I believe is a historic moment. That the tecnico wrestlers have allowed our cameras, our technical staff to enter this very private place where something very personal was discussed. We feel happy that everything is okay within El Ejercito de la Justicia. That the problems have been resolved and for the benefit of all of the good fans of wrestling, to be calm. Wrestling is in the good hands of gentlemen who are united in El Ejercito de la Justicia. I would like to thank all of the help of our director Miguel Pol, Luis Montalvo and the rest of our team that gave that extra mile here in this place with so many wrestlers and that they were able to bring to you this beautiful message. And there is peace reigning in El Ejercito de la Justicia. Don't go away from your TV, because we'll continue with more of the best wrestling in the world.

Can you guess what happened with Ayala a week or two after this? Three guesses and the first two won't count. ;)
