Wendi Richter vs. Monster Ripper (May 1987)

Hey it's the future Bertha Faye looking slimmer and face painted. They battled to a double countout and was a decent match.

Stan Bruise vs. Jorge Clemente (May 1987)

Squash.

Armando Salgado vs. El Vikingo (May 1987)

Salgado got chunked over the top rope for a DQ.

El Duende vs. Carlos Ocasio (May 1987)

Nothing match.

Jerry Oates vs. Super Medico (Jose Estrada) (5/23/87)

Nice match with both men looking decent although I wish it would have went longer.

The next show starts with a recap of the Invader/Chicky Starr feud setting up their career vs. hair match at the 1987 anniversary show. This was good stuff.

Then we get a video of the Colon/Hercules Ayala feud which was good also.

Next we get a Road Warriors squash match from 1984 since they are coming in.

Wendi Richter vs. Monster Ripper

I have actually watched a cage match with these two from the island so this is sort of a regression. Video quality isn't the best here, though it's mainly a "tracking" issue. Anyway this match is kind of nuts. For starters Richter is the aggressor and goes after Ripper before she is even ready. I just found that odd for some reason. Then when Ripper takes over her offense is based almost entirely around her boobs and/or ass. She literally does this weird leaping tit attack in the corner and then follows it up with a bunch of butt drops. It was not what I was expecting at all. Each woman takes post shots in this and they end up brawling on the floor and wrecking each other against the guardrail with the Monster choking Richter against it with her leg. The Gene Shalit lookalike ref tries to step in between them and eventually breaks them up and this was just bizarre. In a way I actually think it was a good match, but it was short, no one will be clamoring for it and I'm not even entirely sure what I just saw.

Stan Bruise commits a hate crime in the next squash.

Armando Salgado vs. El Vikingo

Competitive match, but not much of note really. Both guys had some cool looking spots, but neither is the sort that is going to make a set absent a really fiery performance and there wasn't anything like that here.

There were some local promos with Chicky and Carlos in here

Jerry Oates vs. Super Medico

This was decent, looked better on paper than it actually was. I will say that the finishing run was pretty novel and somewhat unexpected.

The Invader/Starr and Colon/Ayala recaps were good, but they also just made me pissed that we didn't have more from those feuds.

The Richter/Ripper cage match is on the Wendi Richter WWC video release. It also has another match between them from Trinidad. On that video there's also a cage match with Sasha. I think almost all of the video's matches are on Youtube along with the interview segments.

Is the Invader / Chicky feud recap this one?

If it is, I have a translated transcription for it.
