Next we get the return of Dutch Mantell to WWC as Chicky Starr had been promising his return so what does Dutch but attacks Chicky then celebrates with Invader before beating on a masked jobber. Extra material as the fans are nuts for Dutch. Universal Heavyweight Title: Carlos Colon © vs. Mr. Kareem Muhammad (November 1987) Hercules Ayala jumps Colon before the match which leads to a wild brawl and Colon being bloodied. Iron Sheik vs. Lazaro Salazar (October 1987) Squash. The next show starts with clips of an Invaders/SST match that looked fun with SST bleeding but winning the Caribbean Tag Titles. Hercules Ayala vs. American Jobber (November 1987) Squash. Then we get a video for the Fantastics from Mid-South. "Dirty" Dutch Mantell vs. Chicky Starr (November 1987) Chicky wears a bandana here still selling losing his hair from months earlier but Dutch would rip it off revealing short hair. Dutch would start getting offense on Chicky but that would bring out the SST & Ayala before the tecnicos would chase them off. WWC TV Title: The Invader © vs. Ron Starr (10/17/87) Starr jumps Invader before the bell and continues to maul him along with getting help from Chicky on the floor before we go to a break. Both men would trade backslides as we come back but Starr is still in control. Starr gets a DDT on Invader but Invader would get the ropes before getting an O'Connor Roll for a nearfall in desperation. Invader would then lock on a desperation inside cradle which got him the win in a decent match.

November 11, 201311 yr comment_5571939 First couple of squashes aren't much. The return of Dutch is great. It's fucking nuts to see how crazy the crowd goes for the old bastard and he is clearly loving every second of it. Loved this segment EXTRA Colon v. Muhammed literally was all angle, but it was good stuff as Ayala posts him over and over and Carlos bleeds a gusher. Ayala ends up putting Colon in a figure four on the floor as the faces come out and try to make the save. They hit ringside and Grizzly Boone shows up and starts beating ass until Invader 3 makes the save with a chair. This ruled and was made even better by Chicky Starr holding court dressed like a scarecrow. EXTRA The Invaders v. SST clip could theoretically be an EXTRA "Dirty" Dutch Mantell vs. Chicky Starr This is fun. The make a mild production out of exposing Chicky's shaved head. Some good punches in this and I really liked Dutch's counter out of the bearhug and his short arm clothesline. This is over before it really gets started, but while it lasted it was good. The Invader © vs. Ron Starr Starr absolutely massacres Invader with a running forearm at the start of this. It was the sort of spot that looked like it could have legit knocked someone out. Starr is a bit tubbier here than before and his offense is semi-out of control, with everything hitting really violently or awkwardly, but it actually makes the front end heat section more compelling. The Invader bump to the floor is slightly "off" in terms of timing, but it hardly looked bad. Back from the break STarr was in control and they appeared to be working toward an eventual comeback...and then INvader wins on a roll up. Fuck that. This was the first act of a good match, but the second act never came.
