Terry Fargo v. King Parsons

I liked the big spots here. Good monkey flip. Cool cross body near fall. Iceman throwing desperation headbutts on his knees and fucking killing Fargo with a sick looking forearm to set up the finish. The rest of this was total filler, but the big spots were cool.

Mike Masters v. Brett Sawyer

Strength v. speed match. Sawyer had a couple of nice looking spots, but this was not terribly interesting and needed a lot more sizzle to really work.

Buddy Rose/Stan Stasiak v. Steve Regal/Matt Borne (2/3 Falls)

I enjoyed how frantic the opening of this was as you've got Stasiak and Borne taking wild over the top rope bumps early, action on the floor, and Buddy skipping around ringside instigating shit. The first fall kept a really steady pace, had some solid spots and the first, into slingshot sunset flip finish looked really good and was a nice way to top it off.

Second fall was hit or miss for me. I liked the initial take over spot on Regal but Regal is not a compelling FIP at all and the heels choice of holds was not helping matters. Buddy did some nice bumping for Borne and it led to Rose cheating while recovering from a big bump on the floor which is the sort of ring positioning nuance I really enjoy. I also dug the finish of this fall with Rose reeling and Stasiak cheap shot heart punch from the apron getting the fall for the heels.

Third fall starts with Regal missing a big knee charge and getting locked up in a half crab...and that's the finish. Quick, but effective.

Overall this was more good than bad. Not an off the charts match by any means though. I could see it making the set, but it's by no means an essential match. Post-match stuff seemed dumb too.
