Posted April 14, 201114 yr comment_5469864 Opening to this is well done as Adams does a slick counter arm drag, some solid arm work and then Miller gets pissed and starts throwing shots with a scowl on his face. When they eventually go back to a rope running spot Miller does a good job selling terror as Adams sets for another arm drag and clutches the ropes to avoid it. Man it is really simple stuff but that really is the bedrock of this match - Miller is terrified of Adams hiplock/armdrags coming off the ropes. Miller's offense is not great, but he has good facial expressions which makes up for it. Adams wins after a pair of superkicks that has the crowd going nuts. This may not hold up, it was really simplistic, and there were no big time spots, but I'm going to pass this along for now.
October 12, 201410 yr comment_5632658 This was a fine match, with Adams doing a good job establishing his technical superiority early and Miller eventually slowing the pace with some solid clubbering. I always like Miller a little more than I think I'm going to. The first of Adams' finishing superkicks looked great. But this was a short, basic match, not something likely to register strongly with voters. No vote for me. Patterson Portland Disc 24
