It isn't a style I liked very much, but it was done well. Foundation had nice looking beatdowns on Tama and there was good hot tag, and a fun finish. It feels like we are going to want to put the five best Islanders matches on the set, and this should be at least in the running
June 18, 201114 yr comment_5473649 This is one of the better HF matches I've seen. It's not out of this World great but it doesn't feature a bunch of heel in peril stuff and it doesn't have Neidhart working a long chinlock. In fact I thought Neidhart was more effective taking the Islanders offense in the early going than Bret was. The spot with Tama getting tossed off the ramp was neat, the beat down was pretty good, and Haku coming in and literally paint brushing guys was awesome. Also the finish - while again not out of this World - was well done from the crossbody, to the nasty looking nut shot leading to a heel win. I could see this on a set.

I think the Philly match was much wilder and action packed and had the hotter start. We need to choose one and my gut says go with the Philly match.
