November 14, 201311 yr comment_5572513 First episode is probably the most egregious string of squashes I've seen on WWC tv as none of them were even particularly competitive. Second show starts with clips of Ayala beating Colon for the title. It looked to me like Ayala won when Colon failed to lift up his own shoulders while applying the figure-four but I wasn't sure about this. Possible EXTRA Miguel Perez Jr. v. Masked Guy Total squash. Chicky STarr flower shop with Dan Spivey. This has no sound like the rest of the second show on this disc Another Muta squash is next. Spivey wins a handicap match. Dan Kroffat wins a squash next against a guy that looks like a poor mans Tim Horner. Think about that. Renegade Warriors v. Tony Falk/? Basically a squash. Clips of finish of Renegade Warriors v. Kendo/Pogo title switch. TNT v. Mr. Pogo (2/27/88) This is form a stadium show. I'm not sure you can call this a "dream match" per se, but it sort of had that kind of vibe to me, as you have two guys who are garbage wrestling legends for lack of a better term going at it in a big time setting. This has a clip in this, but about eight minutes or so are shown and I don't think a ton is missing. From what is here this would be a solid addition to the set. It was a simple and straight forward match, but also one that well worked. There were several moments in this where one guy tossed out a kick or a lariat and the other guy ran full tilt right into it. Pogo was a rope running machine at times in this and this built well with TNT selling and getting a couple of really good hope spots only to be cut back down to size. The Cobra Clutch spot with TNT having to fight out of his own hold was dramatic and the finish was well done with TNT hitting a flash superkick and Pogo kicking out just after the three count to leave some room for doubt and rematches. The only major knock on this is the lack of audio, otherwise this is something a little bit different, that still fits with the over all vibe of Puerto Rican wrestling. Carlos Colon v. Dory Funk Jr. I think this starts right as the bell rings on the match. This was going the route of a slow build title match. Colon was working like Bob Backlund here and I thought this might end up getting decent, though it had your typical Doryish faults. But then the disc just ended before the match. Oh well.
