Ed Wiskowski v. Jerry Grey Wiskowski was really great in this. He just got over big time for Grey's counters and took some really great theatrical bumps which is what you want from him. Crowd was really into this and I can't imagine that was because of how wildly over Jerry Grey was. Grey ends up taking a wicked bump of his own to the floor and Wiskowski brings him in with a delayed belly-to-back, really hamming it up for the crowd before going for a cover. Grey fires up and Wiskowski faceplants after some punches and then takes a really cool looking double knee lift. Grey whiffs on a dropkick and they do a really awesome sunset flip spot. Wiskowski is on the ropes and in desperation crotches the fuck out of Gray for the DQ. This is on the front end of an Ed heel turn and really worked well solidifying him as an asshole. Good match over all really.

Cuban Assassin v. Mando Guerrero This is a strange one. This is the Cuban Assassin that worked the Maritimes during the same period and not Fidel Sierra who I THINK would later be Top Gun in Portland. The Assassin is jaw jacking with grandma and seems to be pretty confused by Mando's admittedly flashy counter attempts. Assassin took Mando's flying headbutts pretty well. Assassin has a really nice right hand. Mando locks on a Boston Crab while the announcer makes fat jokes about Assassin. Assassin takes over and works a really boring control segment, but then whiffs on a fucking huge flip splash off the top that covers half the ring. Mando goes for a monkey flip but gets slingshotted over the top and eats a neckbreaker for the fall. Part of this was good and other parts were just bizarre. Strange match.

Mike Miller/Mr. Ebony interview. Cuban Assassin shows up and chases Miller and Ebony off the set and then starts ranting about destroying American wrestlers. This might be an EXTRA

Battle Royal I've got to say the crowd was really fucking hot for this to the point that by the time it got down to Jaggers and Miller I was kind of excited myself. Really not worth watching, but this did have a big time feel and of course a disputed finish.

Bobby Jaggers interview. Jaggers ask for the battle royal purse to be held up for a singles match with him and Miller.

Mike Miller v. Don Running Bear I thought most of this sucked, but once Bear hit the monkey flip, the figure-four spot was cool and actually semi-justified the tedious legwork that proceeded it. Miller is good at selling damage in general but this was just a really low key match and not in a good way.

Mike Miller interview.

Bobby Jaggers v. Sivi Afa This is worked interesting as they sort of work a low-fi mat based opening which just seems unusual to me. Jaggers really works the leg and then gets mad when Afa breaks the hold with a kick. Seriously the "escalation" part of this was just comical. Jaggers ends up taking a ludicrous bump to the floor off of a double shoulder tackle. Another senseless draw really.

Cuban Assassin v. Jerry Grey Grey gets ambushed and I will give it to the Assassin, he really does work pretty nasty looking stuff even if it is plainish. Assassin keeps him at bay with big elbow drops on the floor but Grey fires up to a huge pop and hits a nice dropkick before taking over. Man Grey took a really nice looking bump off of a stiff looking Assassin knee, but misses a jumping back elbow off the second rope. Grey was a good fiery babyface in this and Assassin was pretty stiff. His neckbreaker looked good. But this was nothing special.

Kendo Nagasaki/Ed Wiskowski interview. Nagasaki is just running around with a kendo stick while Wiskowski introduces him and talks shit. EXTRA

Billy Two Eagles/Don Running Bear v. Mike Miller/Mr. Ebony (2/3 Falls) The heels bump around huge early and retreat to the floor. Really liked Miller's quick standing switch and Two Eagles escape and double dropkick with Bear knocking Miller to the floor was excellent. Running Bear ends up going FIP which is kind of an unfortunate choice. I did kind of dig the sloppiness of the Running Bear comeback though and Two Eagles really decked Miller with a dropkick from the middle rope when he tagged in and followed it up with this leaping sentonesque move to Miller while he was seated. Man Two Eagles really has fun offense. Running Bear comes back in for a while and really doesn't impress but as soon as Two Eagles comes back in he hits some more cool shit and takes some whiplash bumps that looked great. He also ends up taking the first fall with a flying dropkick. More good than bad for sure. Two Eagles gets isolated early in the second fall and gets choked behind the refs back. Man Miller is nine thousand times better when he is on the defensive. Two Eagles is a sympathetic figure and takes a couple of nice bumps but the heels really do not work a compelling heat segment. They did work a cool strike based hope spot that led to Billy making the hot tag off of a missed Miller elbow. Shit gets a bit confused and wins with a really sick and super fast spinning neckbreaker. Really a disappointing fall. Third fall starts with a barrage of sweet looking Two Eagles offense. Really good babyface near fall off of a reverse crossbody from Two Eagles. Finish was really flubbed Indian victory. Disappointing match. Two Eagles was good, but no one else really was. With better heels this could have been really strong.

Tom Pritchard interview. Cuban Assassin interview. He speaks in Spanish and attacks capitalism.
