Posted May 5, 201114 yr comment_5470775 Cortez was getting a big push here having just won the European Lightweight title from Jimmy Breaks, while Barnes had shed his Adrian Street look and was looking distinctly like WCW Rick Rude. He took this match pretty seriously too with only a minimum of schtick. There was some shitty heckling from the crowd early on, but pretty soon everyone stopped and watched as this was a hugely competitive match with some nice selling by British standards. Very good match.
