Billy Jack Haynes v. Kendo Nagasaki Billy Jack gets swarmed like he is one of the Von Erichs here. I can already tell that this match is going to be enhanced by immense heat. Kendo's heat segment was simple but got a huge reaction and Billy was actually a good FIP. Also loved Billy's fired up winning of a chop exchange and his clothesline/diving elbow combo worked out well as a sparkplug finish. Nagasaki opens up quick in the second fall. Billy Jack gets beat around and really demolished. He ends up on the floor where Nagasaki decks him with a chair and Billy bleeds a huge gusher all over the place. Nagasaki paints his chest with blood and works over Billy with kicks and Billy is really amazing selling the blood loss. Seriously blood less selling is something that is not that hard to sell, but Haynes is awesome looking woosy and totally gone here. He gets caught with the backbreaker sequence and they oddly count the fall once and then count it again after a side kick. Still this was kind of great. Third fall was awesome as Billy Jack is on the defensive early, but he fires up with some big strikes that rattle Kendo. He bites him and then ends up trying to lock on a full nelson. Nagasaki is great struggling against it. Billy Jack finally locks it in and Kendo flees to the ropes but Haynes follows him over the top and refuses to let go of the hold leading to a double countout. First fall was pretty good. Final two falls were actually awesome as fuck. Overall this will make the set one way or the other.

Ed Wiskowski/Kendo Nagasaki interview. I love that Nagasaki is wearing the hood for this interview mid-match. Good promo setting up a big Kendo Stick match.

Bobby Jaggers interview.

Mike Miller's title belt theft is addressed by the NWA who is threatening to take his license.

Billy Jack Haynes interview. He answers the previous Wiskowski challenge.

Bobby Jaggers v. The Cuban Assassin Man I really enjoyed the Jaggers arm work. His bodyslam/armdrag combo was sloppy but effective and he was really milking the holds. Assassin trying to go to the leg to break an armbar was cool and his strikes looked good. Jaggers gets busted open seemingly from punches and the crowd is really into it. Assassin hits a sick backfist and a neckbreaker for huge near falls that actually felt like the real deal. Jaggers goes into an awesome punch exchange working out of a corner, then from his knees, but then getting cut off and tossed to the floor. Jaggers gets posted and Assassin takes over with some big bombs again. He airballs on a corner charge onto his elbow that Jaggers had worked over early and Jaggers fires up. Jaggers finally wins with a big lariat. I liked this quite a bit actually.

Karl Steiner v. Bobby Jaggers (2/3 Falls) Early going of the first fall is fun with Steiner taking some nasty bumps, doing some over the top selling of the arm work Jaggers brought, et. I also liked the slickness of his little gut kick at one point. Steiner eventually takes over with the old boot/eye rake which rules. They throw some nice strike exchanges in here though nothing great. I did like Steiner dropping into a single leg to avoid a Jaggers comeback. Jaggers eventually takes the fall with a lariat/elbow combo. Solid. Second Fall sees Jaggers tossed to the floor right away and Steiner takes over on him quick. Steiner wins in quick fashion with a diving clothesline. Third Fall is Steiner in control and going for near falls quickly. Steiner really has a pretty broad and effective looking offensive arsenal which is good for this sort of stuff. Jaggers and Steiner go into a punching combo that ends with Steiner taking a back body drop but the ref gets bumped. Miller uses his crutch from the outside to sweep Jaggers leg on a slam attempt and Steiner wins. Post-match Jaggers is bloodied and destroyed by the heels. There was enough here for consideration.

Bobby Jaggers/Billy Haynes interview. Good stuff.

Finish of Billy Jack Haynes v. Rip Oliver. Jaggers comes out and destroys Haynes turning heel. Pretty sure we have this already but it should be an EXTRA.

Rip Oliver/Bobby Jaggers interview.

Billy Jack Haynes v. Bobby Jaggers (2/3 Falls) Billy Jack works a headlock to pretty good effect here with some nice takedowns and Jaggers working some nice escapes. Jaggers hits a belly to back but Haynes holds on. I really like the way Jaggers actually sells the damage of a headlock when he gets back to a base. Jaggers eventually tosses billy to the floor and Billy wins with an outside-in sunset flip. Solid enough opening fall. Billy Jack goes for the offensive on the 2nd fall but misses an elbow and Jaggers takes over. Jaggers ends up loading up his elbow pad and decking Haynes and taking the second fall in short order. Third fall starts with Haynes bloody and trying to recover but Jaggers goes straight to work on him. Jaggers really starts working the elbow pad throwing a variety of elbows for near falls while Billy sells his ass off. Man Jaggers is fun working the offensive stuff here and Haynes is great selling. Really awesome sequence with Jaggers throwing jabs and Billy just being great selling. They sort of flub the first attempt at the finish but Haynes selling is so great you don't really care and when they go back to it it doesn't feel like a repeat it at all. Speaking of which the finish was Jaggers going for his lariat and getting caught in the full nelson, with Assassin hitting the ring to attack Haynes. First two falls were respectable, but the third fall puts this over the top. Billy Jack Haynes interview with title post-match.

Rip Oliver and Bobby Jaggers destroy Billy Jack Haynes and Barry Owen with a trophy Haynes had been awarded in Japan. This was a really cool, well developed angle. EXTRA.
