Assassin trying to go to the leg to break an armbar was cool and his strikes looked good. Jaggers gets busted open seemingly from punches and the crowd is really into it. Assassin hits a sick backfist and a neckbreaker for huge near falls that actually felt like the real deal. Jaggers goes into an awesome punch exchange working out of a corner, then from his knees, but then getting cut off and tossed to the floor. Jaggers gets posted and Assassin takes over with some big bombs again. He airballs on a corner charge onto his elbow that Jaggers had worked over early and Jaggers fires up. Jaggers finally wins with a big lariat. I liked this quite a bit actually.
October 22, 201410 yr comment_5634790 Yeah, this built into another really nifty brawl, with Jaggers getting bloodied and then gradually punching his way back into the match. Dylan described the action well, and I don't have much to add. As bad as Portland got by the late '80s, it was still solid in '85-'86. Yes vote. Patterson Portland Disc 31
