Posted May 6, 201114 yr comment_5470817 Early going of the first fall is fun with Steiner taking some nasty bumps, doing some over the top selling of the arm work Jaggers brought, et. I also liked the slickness of his little gut kick at one point. Steiner eventually takes over with the old boot/eye rake which rules. They throw some nice strike exchanges in here though nothing great. I did like Steiner dropping into a single leg to avoid a Jaggers comeback. Jaggers eventually takes the fall with a lariat/elbow combo. Solid. Second Fall sees Jaggers tossed to the floor right away and Steiner takes over on him quick. Steiner wins in quick fashion with a diving clothesline. Third Fall is Steiner in control and going for near falls quickly. Steiner really has a pretty broad and effective looking offensive arsenal which is good for this sort of stuff. Jaggers and Steiner go into a punching combo that ends with Steiner taking a back body drop but the ref gets bumped. Miller uses his crutch from the outside to sweep Jaggers leg on a slam attempt and Steiner wins. Post-match Jaggers is bloodied and destroyed by the heels. There was enough here for consideration.

I really liked the way he worked with Jaggers' arm stuff in the first fall. And whenever he went on offense, he really laid in his shots. I wish Jaggers bleeding had been a bigger part of the match instead of coming in the post-match. But I enjoyed this one throughout. Low-level yes, Patterson Portland Disc 31
