Chris Colt v. Tama Samoa Colt goes to jaw with fans pre-match per normal and ends up getting blindside dropkicked by Tama into the first row. More hair pulling of Colt by the ref who apparently has it in for punk rock. Tama does some decent looking ma work and Colt gets dirty with cheap shots, back rakes and other heel douchebaggery. Colt goes to a nerve hold that I actually don't mind. Tama ends up taking a really reckless looking bump to the floor and then Colt goes to jaw with Grandma again. Tama Samoa crawls under the ring and ends up sneaking behind and dropkicking Colt over the top with Colt taking a really wild bump. Colt gets back in and drops to his knee and offers his hand. Coco doesn't bit and lights up Colt but Tama misses a corner charge and whacks his shoulder on the top turnbuckle. Amazingly this is the shoulder that the nervehold was applied to so this makes sense in the context of the match. Colt continus to be a shitty cheat and gets caught pulling the hair blatantly. Tama ends up winning with a sunset flip and Colt making a great "oh shit!" face on the way down. I am on a mission to get a Colt match on the set as I find his scummy punk loser, who really sucks at everything act to be extremely entertaining. This is another one I am offering up knowing full well it will get shot down. One way or the other Colt will get one proper match on the set.

Ricky Santana/Coco Samoa interview. Santana referring to this unit as "America's team" in contrast to a team led by Mike Miller and Rip Oliver called "the clan" feels like some sort of early multicultural/propositional nation talking point

Ricky Santana v. Joey Jackson This was squashesque and very short for a Portland match. Jackson worked heel and was shitty.

Scott Doring/Brady Boone interview.

Rip Oliver v. Coco Samoa (2/3 Falls) Opening fall was mostly Coco in control. This did not have the urgency or stiffness of their previous two matches though there were some pretty funny spots and the crowd was into Coco. I did like the finish with Oliver getting the knees up on a splash attempt and then hitting his big shoulder breaker for the fall. 2nd fall is a quick and shitty DQ on Oliver, with Oliver attacking Sandy Barr and the whole match getting called off.

Scott Doring/Brady Boone/Coco Samoa interview.

Tama Samoa v. Stony Burke This was textbook, heatless, face v. face, boring ass shit. Not awful but just hold trading that went nowhere and seemed to never end.

Coco Samoa/Ricky Santana interview.

Rip Oliver/Abudda Dein v. Scott Doring/Brady Boone (2/3 Falls) First fall was respectable primarily because of the finishing run. The opening work was passable, but Boone was a lot of fun down the stretch hitting a sick looking dropkick, a great snap suplex and then a rana counter to an Abudda Dein offensive attempt for the fall. Second fall starts out and Boone quickly ends up going FIP. Pretty decent work. Doring gets the tag in but gets caught with a back suplex/diving clothesline combo to drop the second fall. Final fall is really short and ends up in a clusterfuck draw. There was some good stuff in this one but not enough to pass it through.

Rip Oliver/Abudda Dein/Mike Miller interview.

Scott Doring v. Verne Siebert Really basic but entertaining match because of Siebert. His posing and posturing made the shit work of Doring more tolerable and interesting than it should have been.

Mike Miller/Abudda Dein interview.

Vinnie Valentino v. Abudda Dein (2/3 Falls) God Dein stalls forever at the beginning of this. This wasn't very good. Valentino had some decent spots but some others were badly botched including the ending to the second fall. Thank god I don't have to watch any more of this 86 Portland right this second. It's very depressing.
