Colt goes to jaw with fans pre-match per normal and ends up getting blindside dropkicked by Tama into the first row. More hair pulling of Colt by the ref who apparently has it in for punk rock. Tama does some decent looking ma work and Colt gets dirty with cheap shots, back rakes and other heel douchebaggery. Colt goes to a nerve hold that I actually don't mind. Tama ends up taking a really reckless looking bump to the floor and then Colt goes to jaw with Grandma again. Tama Samoa crawls under the ring and ends up sneaking behind and dropkicking Colt over the top with Colt taking a really wild bump. Colt gets back in and drops to his knee and offers his hand. Coco doesn't bit and lights up Colt but Tama misses a corner charge and whacks his shoulder on the top turnbuckle. Amazingly this is the shoulder that the nervehold was applied to so this makes sense in the context of the match. Colt continus to be a shitty cheat and gets caught pulling the hair blatantly. Tama ends up winning with a sunset flip and Colt making a great "oh shit!" face on the way down. I am on a mission to get a Colt match on the set as I find his scummy punk loser, who really sucks at everything act to be extremely entertaining. This is another one I am offering up knowing full well it will get shot down. One way or the other Colt will get one proper match on the set.

I liked this better than the Santana match, largely because Samoa brought more to the table as a Colt opponent. The under-the-ring spot was neat, and both guys took some nifty bumps. Colt's schtick was a little more subdued this time but still fun. I could see this as the token Chris Colt match on the set, and I don't even mean token in a bad way. He was a cool worker who should be represented.

Tama Samoa vs. Chris Colt (8/2/86)

Holy shit Colt is talking mad shit before the match to Tama, the fans, Sandy Barr and gets dropkicked from the apron to the floor which was great. Colt gets more offense in here than he did against Santana and he talks way more shit pissing the fans off. Tama going across the ring under the ring to dropkick Colt from behind to the floor was great. Colt then got to walk around the ring and jaw with grandma which was fun. Colt's non chalant cheating here is fantastic as he doesn't give a shit about what Sandy Barr thinks. Tama wins with a sunset flip with Colt making a great face on the way down. Again this was way more fun than it should've been thanks to Colt and I think this is a low-end nomination.
