Posted February 25, 200520 yr comment_882293 Now, I'll admit, I don't listen to current music unless it is free so I find it difficult to have to go to a store and shell out the cash for a lackluster album when I only like 1 or 2 songs. Now, with the difficulty I have finding newer songs on the net, I was thinking about breaking down and buying the album. So, I know there are people around here who listen to alot of rap... maybe ya'll can give me the inside track on this album. Is it worth $15? If you want break it down track-by-track. Rolling Stone gave it **** but I have a hard time accepting critic ratings since most have biases that exceed their ability to judge an album honestly.
February 26, 200520 yr comment_886045 Uh no. It's not **** and it's certainly not worth 15 bucks. Steal it. As an aside, I actually enjoyed the single and "My Toy Soldier" but it could be because the first half of the album is fucking terrible.
March 2, 200520 yr comment_975017 Yeah, I definitely going with Ill on this one. Steal that shit. The album isn't anything CLOSE to Get Rich or Die Tryin'... I know it's hard to back something like that up, but Jesus. The Massacre is pretty weak.
March 2, 200520 yr comment_976619 I don't think I've heard a decent song off this album. All the singles from it thus far are embarrassing. Ooo, 50 compares his dick to candy. That's original. And hood.
March 2, 200520 yr comment_978245 It seems like Aftermath have fell off a little with Encore, The Documentary and The Massacre all selling but meeting mixed reviews. What's funny is Proof quietly put out "I Miss The Hip Hop Shop" and though I haven't listened to it as much, it hasn't worn out it's welcome compared to the others mentioned (possibly because it seems an entity unto itself, not addressing or featuring Aftermath beefs and artists).
