And he looks like the biggest goofball ever. 2. Cousin Luke v Tony Leone Man this went on forever. Tons of hillbilly antics and the announcers were just tickled by it all. Leone seemed like a far more interesting worker than Luke. 3. Manny Fernandez v David Koorijion Manny is awesome. He really stiffs the hell out of people with the Flying Burrito. This was only 2 minutes, but Manny always has a vibe of "anything can happen" while he's in the ring. 4. Wahoo McDaniel v Bobby Duncum – Mat Classic from Denver, CO Duncum didn't look as good as his son. 5. Badd Company v Brian Costello/Larry Bicone This started out with Costello getting the best of Diamond a few times in a row, but once Diamond took over Badd Co. never looked back. Bicone didn't look that good and Tanaka had to stiff him over to make sure the guy took his offense properly. The finishing DDT looked nasty. 6. Jerry Lawler v Soldat Ustinov – AWA title I wish this was a little bit longer as I likely would have given it full nomination with more time. It was like a standard classic Lawler title defense, just shorter (only went about 7 minutes). I love Lawler's straight right hand. It may be my favorite punch of his, where he just rears his arm straight back, and punches a guy straight on the chin or nose. There were some cool spots revolving around a bearhug, sometimes with Lawler escaping with that punch, other times Ustinov doing something cool like releasing near the turnbuckles, only to shove Lawler into the buckles and lock it right back on. Lawler sells a shoulder to the ribs while in the buckles like few, really made it look nasty. Finish was screwy but I liked it. Lawler got shoved into the ref, Khan tries to cheat and Lawler ducks out of the way, so Khan just levels Ustinov with the diving clothesline. I am on the fence on this one. I will give the go ahead if someone else does.

Luca is not that guy. Top Guns pre-tape Cousin Luke v. Tony Leone I like how Cousin Luke has trouble with the concept of wearing shoes but can throw a perfect hip toss. He is billed from the Bama/TN state border area and as someone originally from that area "guy who doesn't know how shoes work, but can execute basic wrestling holds properly" is actually a really true to real life gimmick. I kinda liked Luke's post-match promo. Manny Fernandez v David Koorijion Short squash. Mat Classic with Wahoo/Duncum The guy in the bowler hat is back, this time talking about Cousin Luke and The Top Guns. Badd Company v Brian Costello/Larry Bicone Badd Company is a WAYYY better squash team than the Rockers. Just saying. They deal really well with jobbers who don't know how to work. Diamond tossed out a great clothesline here and man that DDT looked sick. Jerry Lawler v. Soldad Ustinov Lawler decking Khan and then dancing a jig after he tried to interfere was really awesome. Lawler's punch to the downed Ustinov looked really great and I liked the one armed test of strength spot a lot. I thought Jerry sold the bear hug well but that spot would have worked a thousand times better if there had been any sort of real heat section started on Lawler before hand. I wasn't really bothered by the length of this per se, but if you are going to go this short you need to have some bigger spots, a faster pace, or at least better offense from the heel in the heat secton As a Lawler mark I enjoyed the match, and Khan killing Soldad with his finish and then taking the huge bump over the top was actually a pretty sweet finish, but I really don't see this as something that would have a lot of support from voters. Jerry Lawler v Soldat Ustinov
June 23, 201114 yr comment_5474906 The guy in the bowler hat is back, this time talking about Cousin Luke and The Top Guns. That's "the Big K". All he ever does is say "You listen to the big K, I'll tell you how to win! I told you how to win!!" He was around doing some sort of heel commentator corner bullshit for some time. Sucked balls IMO, but better than "Donna's Rumours" which I believe comes on later episodes. You'll miss him once you get to Donna. uuuugh.
