This had enough fun moments to be worth a nomination. With the talent involved I kind of wanted better, but Adonis was bumping around impressively and they had some nice battle of titans momented between Adonis and Blackwell. Wanted more Rich and Wahoo, but they looked good when they where in there. Sort of low end, but I will throw it out there for other folks

 

AWA on ESPN Classic 7/16/08

God damn Tommy Rich is a rope running motherfucker and hits a nice cross body here early. I was dying to see Adonis and Blackwell match up with each other but early we only got a taste with nothing to it. Adonis slam on Blackwell looked awesome and his missed splash follow up was cool too. Adonis drop toeholding Rich to cool his jets and Rose just dropping him with an elbow was a nice transition. Heat section on Rich was okay and the finish was kind of flubbed. This could have been a lot better. Too disappointing to go to bat for and there are a shitload of matches with far less talented guys that smoke this.

God I really wanted this to be a nomination but there wasn't enough here to warrant a nomination as with these six guys you want a damn good match but this was just good at best. It wasn't like these guys were resting on their laurels but this seemed like a streamlined version of what could've been. I'm going to say no sadly.
