Posted May 22, 201114 yr comment_5471603 I could not find any record of this show in the TV listings section, so this was the MYSTERY EPISODE!!! 1. Dennis Condrey/Randy Rose vs. Stoney Burke/Lance Allen Nice short squash for the Midnights. 2. Steve O vs. Rick Gantner This was really competitive and really fun, just not quite enough to nominate. Gantner throws a nice right and did cool things like scrape Steve's face with his boot eyelets. Steve O was WAY over with the crowd, took a big bump to the floor, had a cool elbowdrop off the ropes (that Gantner sat up into really awesomely), and was a good face. 3. Wahoo McDaniel/DJ Peterson vs. Tony Leone/Pete Sanchez Peterson has a mustache here and looks a lot like Magnum TA (I assume on purpose?). Shockingly, Wahoo chopped the hell out of these guys and this was about the best I have ever seen Peterson look. He hit a big shoulderblock off the top and had some cool deadlift vertical suplexes. 4. Jeff Jarrett/Stoney Burke vs. Nasty Boys: Fun little tag, oddly enough with JJ/Burke getting most of the offense until Nasties get DQ'd for throwing JJ over the top to the floor. Jarrett threw nice uppercuts, Knobbs stumbled while running the ropes THREE different times, and Burke made the Nasties all dizzy with a bunch of armdrags. 5. Tommy Rich vs. Tom Stone: Announcer says this is Rich's AWA debut and he gets a really big reaction when coming to the ring, and Stone awesomely attacks him before the bell. Turns out to be kind of a nothing match, as Rich kinda controls with armlocks for awhile, Stone awesomely cheats to transition, with a really nice punch to the eye, then eyerakes. Rich ends up hitting the Thesz Press shortly after. His fired up promo after the match was great though and easily the best thing about it. 6. Boris Zukhov vs. Bill Anderson: Man what a weak TV main event. This was not very good. Finish was a botched cattle branding that looked way more nasty because Anderson clearly didn't know how to take the move.
