Rock N Roll Express I'm going to nominate this despite the fact that the finish of the disc is fucked per usual because I really loved Morton and the Bodies in this. The Bodies cut off Morton with the clothesline on the floor and they really lay shit in from there on and it was super compelling. They fucking KILL HIM with a spike DDT at one point that was totally awesome. I usually give up on these discs as soon as they start skipping around but this was compelling enough where I tried to fight through to catch the finish that I ultimately missed out on.
June 15, 201114 yr comment_5473449 I thought this was solid enough to be nominated. Yet I say no. The work was fine, but just not all that compelling to me. I thought the Meltzer/Keller rib was good. Both teams have had better matches with one another.
December 14, 201113 yr comment_5490144 The Heavenly Bodies ("Gigolo" Jimmy del Ray & Dr. Tom Prichard) vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (1/10/94) The opponents were originally listed as Dave Meltzer & Wade Keller which was hilarious with Dutch calling them jacklegs and of course they end up being the RnR. The match was fun and full of hate but the disc cutting out hurt this one for me and it's not like we don't have a ton of these already so I'm going no on this one.
