Candido is really "on" in this match, hitting some nasty punches, taking a high back body and getting into great position for the old drop down monkey flip attempt which Gibson blocked with a falling fist drop. Lee was fun getting pinballed around early as well. God damn, another pretty drop down/dropkick combo from the RnR's, followed up with a great blind tag/rope running spot with Candido getting clotheslined as he turned around. Heels finally have enough of the bullshit double teams and lay in one of there own with the old blindside knee to Morton as he's hitting the ropes. Morton takes his nice corner bump and then Candido elbow's him right in the god damned face. Heels isolate Morton's arm and Lee of all people locks on a Fujiwara armbar while the crowd chants Rock N Roll. Candido gets caught going for a back body drop and takes a DDT leading to the hot tag. Candido accidentally clotheslines Lee. All hell breaks loose and Tammy throws her purse to Candido as Morton kisses Tammy. Candido gets the cheapshot with the purse behind Curtis back and the heels win. Really fun tv match. Candido was so much better in SMW. You could argue the face shine was too long for a ten minute match and that the FIP should have been longer but for the way they chose to lay this out this was pretty damned good.

I thought was a really good t.v tag bout. Those punches that Candidio was throwing were great. Even greater was the way Morton sold for him.The shine was really good, but like Dylan said it was a tad long for an 11 minute bout. Still it was good. I thought Morton selling his arm was good. Lee with the Fujiwara was cool. I have never thought much of Lee but he was carryeable at times. Still I would have loved to see Snow/Candido tag team. Plus we get a pretty great finish here to set up a future program. Plus I thought Morton's DDT was pretty swank. Solid nomination.

"Suicide Blonde" Chris Candido & "Primetime" Brian Lee vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (3/7/94)

This is the first match of this feud after the heels attacked RnR on the previous TV. Candido was awesome early on taking punishment from RnR while giving some out as well and the best part about this feud was how fresh it felt. Lee was really good too selling and bumping around as RnR was very fluid in everything they did. The heels would finally take control when Candido hit Morton with a blind knee and Lee following up with a big clothesline leading to Morton doing what he does best and that is work FIP. The heels are effective using double teams behind the ref's back and they showed good chemistry for a team that was just thrown together a couple of weeks earlier. Robert gets the hot tag and he runs wild before Candido would hit Lee by mistake with a clothesline leading to him eating a double dropkick. Tammy comes in with Morton kissing her but she throws the purse to Candido who nailed him to get the win. Very good match and a fairly solid nomination.
