Posted June 5, 201114 yr comment_5472440 Man I liked this better than could have been expected. Bedlam gave Blaze an awful lot. Granted his selling was not the best and the match was really fucking short but for tv matches of this type this was the best I can remember SMW doing. Blaze got in some nice looking and flashy kicks and you really believed he had a chance. His flip kick and dropkick were really great. Bedlam's missed diving headbutt was also a nice transition. Finish was actually pretty great with Blaze flipping off the top and getting caught in mid-air for a backbreaker variation and then locked in the stomach claw for the decisive finish. I could see someone arguing against this but I thought this was neat.
June 23, 201114 yr comment_5474887 I feel this is more of an extra than a match. Still they worked well with one another. Bedlam catching Blaze doing a flip dive into a back breaker was a holy shit moment cause Blaze is not a small man by any stretch of the imagination.
December 20, 201113 yr comment_5490492 SMW TV Title: Bruiser Bedlam © vs. Bobby Blaze (4/4/94) Blaze does a good job of making Bedlam look like a monster here which Bedlam needed here because he had to have some big wins to get over. Blaze gets some offense in as well hitting some big moves but Bedlam catching him in air as he tried a tope con hilo then dropping him with a backbreaker was a really cool move. Bedlam then locks on the stomach claw to win. Short match that was fine for what it was but not a nomination.
