Posted June 7, 201114 yr comment_5472707 The Gangstas v. Brian Logan/Steve Skyfire Pre-match some fan gets in the face of new Jack and starts jawing with him and it is great. Skyfire hit a nice dropkick early which Jack bumped and sold well for. New Jack fucking KILLS Logan with a hotshot at one point. Post-match they X Logan. Finish of the tag titles match from Night of Legends shown. Gangstas promo. New Jack calls the "negros down in Knoxville called the NAACP" a bunch of homegrown monkeys. He brings out a watermelon and says that's what the NAACP wishes he was like. Another great New Jack promo. EXTRA Thrillseekers v. Bodies finish shown form NoL. Thrillseekers promo. Jericho has his broken arm in the sling and claims he broke it in a motorcycle accident which is classic. Smothers/Armstrong promo. Dirty White Boy v. Chris Hamrick total squash. DWB promo. Lays down open challenge. Corny/Killer Kyle/Bedlam/Bodies promo. Corny challenges DWB on behalf of Kyle and complains about not knowing who the new commish is. Bedlam destroys a jobber. Dirty White Boy v. Bruiser Bedlam Impromptu match. DWB wins after a missed diving headbutt in a short match. Brian Lee/Chris Candido v. Rock N Roll Express God Morton looked spry in this. You would have thought this was 1984 as he's running around working offense combinations on Candido with perfect precision and the speed of someone half his age. Candido has his bonnet on and is selling his head shaving. RnR's busted out some neat double team spots I don't recall seeing much from them including a cool misdirection bulldog from Robert on a Candido sunset flip attempt on Ricky. Ricky eventually takes a big bump to the floor off of a knee to the back. Ricky took a great powerslam as a cut off at one point from Candido. Hot tag was less dramatic than you would have liked but was followed up with a dosey do spot where the faces smack into each other. Candido accidentally hits Lee and then the RnR's hit a double dropkick for the finish and title change. Nomination. Fytch/Lee/Candido summit in ring with Lee quitting after Fytch tries to fire him. Fytch sprays his eyes. EXTRA RnR's/Bodies/Corny face off at the announce table. Corny freaks when the Bullet says he is going to manage the RnR's for their match with the Bodies. Gangstas squash! Not as fun as the others but still fun. They X another victim. Gangstas promo. Another great promo from New Jack calling out the RnR's, saying rap is alive in well, saying rock n Roll died with Elvis and talking about slavery. Awesome. EXTRA Dirty White Boy v. Killer Kyle This was pretty decent. Kyle matches tend to go to long and this felt too long though it really wasn't long. I liked some of the counters in this. Anyway, nothing really stands out. Chris Candido promo. He says he needs some bigger stronger and stupider for a new tag partner. Candido runs down the history of his "complete moron" friend he went to school with in New Jersey. Fytch bring him out and it is Boo Bradley on a leash barking like a dog. EXTRA Chris Candido v. Lance Storm Hey Storm's standing backflip was pretty impressive I gotta admit. Storm looked really athletic in this though some of this spots didn't connect right. Finish was Lee coming out and costing Candido the match and Storm hitting a cool splash. Brian Lee promo. Heavenly Bodies v. Rock N Roll Express I did not care for the face shine portion of this which is odd for an RnR match. However once the Bodies took over this got good quick. Pritchard just seemed to be working really hard here. His knee looked sick, his elbow looked great, I dug his standing surfboard move, et. Really all the Bodies offense was really good and much better than the RnR's though Morton hit the fastest and best looking sunset flip I think I have EVER seen at one point. Finish is kind of weak with Bob and Jim getting involved and a flash pin. I guess this is on the low end of something I could see making the set. DWB promo.
