You would have thought this was 1984 as he's running around working offense combinations on Candido with perfect precision and the speed of someone half his age. Candido has his bonnet on and is selling his head shaving. RnR's busted out some neat double team spots I don't recall seeing much from them including a cool misdirection bulldog from Robert on a Candido sunset flip attempt on Ricky. Ricky eventually takes a big bump to the floor off of a knee to the back. Ricky took a great powerslam as a cut off at one point from Candido. Hot tag was less dramatic than you would have liked but was followed up with a dosey do spot where the faces smack into each other. Candido accidentally hits Lee and then the RnR's hit a double dropkick for the finish and title change. Nomination.
June 23, 201114 yr comment_5474886 I wasn't feeling this but Morton and Candido looked great. It looks like Candido/Lee have worked some neat stooge spots in their arsenal. Plus all of that type of stuff plays into the break up. I thought Lee's top rope knee drop was impressive as hell. Still we didn't get much of a heat segment. I'm going to say no on this.
December 21, 201113 yr comment_5490612 SMW Tag Titles: "Suicide Blonde" Chris Candido & "Primetime" Brian Lee © vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (8/8/94) They have already started the RnR/Gangstas feud so you know the deal here it's blowoff time. Candido's head is wrapped because he was shaved bald days earlier. Morton & Candido were really fun together here as Morton was hanging tough with Candido in the speed department. There was also some nifty double teams by RnR as well which were fun as Candido was pinballing all over the ring. Morton took a hard bump to the floor with help from Tammy that started the heels control section and this was by the numbers which was kinda disappointing and made the hot tag not as exciting as well. We get some miscommunication spots by both teams after Gibson comes in and RnR would come out on top to win the belts. This was a fine match and I'll push it forward although one of the lesser of this feud.
