JIP. This is from the TN Valley Fair outside in Knoxville and I don't think we have it. Unfortunately this is clipped though it is hard to tell how heavily. New Jack is really strong here again doing the traditional heeling stuff and I remember how much I love Mark Curtis as his reactions are great too. They do the bulldog to break up the sunset flip attempt again. Ricky eventually gets tossed to the ground where New Jack works him over. We do have the entire heat section on Ricky and I liked it a lot as the Gangstas cut off the ring really well, New Jack was hamming it up, Ricky mixed in some good hope spots and Gibson took some big bumps off the apron as well. RnR's hit the double dropkick but Morton ends up getting thrown out of the ring and New Jack uses that as an excuse to whack Robert with a nightstick for an apparent title switch. Bob Armstrong shows up and says New Jack used a weapon and Mark Curtis declares a re-start with New Jack being rolled up immediately. Finish will not sit well with some but I thought story of all white conspiracy against urban blacks in rural South at state fair got the logical pay off here. I'm guessing no more than 3 minutes tops are cut from this. Nomination

So far from what I have seen is that Nu Jack is a damn good worker in this enviroment. Mustafa not so much. Here he looked as good as I have seen him. Morton was of course Morton. I loved how he went FIP after the big bump he took to the railing on the floor. I'll go with this as a low end nomination. The title change puts this on, plus I kinda like the reverse Dusty finish.

SMW Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) © vs. The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa Saed) (9/16/94)

This is JIP but not too much. Jack gets worked over by the RnR to start again and we get some clipping here but RnR is still in control so we probably didn't miss much but it was annoying. Mustafa would launch Morton over the top and Jack would follow by throwing him into a wall to start their control section. This was considerably better than their last TV match as the Gangstas were more effective in working Morton over as a team and the fans were more into Ricky's hope spots. Gibson comes in for the hot tag and the 4-way was okay with Mustafa taking a double dropkick but Curtis ushers Morton to the corner so Jack could use the nightstick on Gibson for a Gangstas win or so they thought. Bob Armstrong came out and told Curtis what happened and they restarted the match. Jack would get rolled up by Morton fairly quickly to win. The match was fine and the finish was well done plus it pushed forward the Gangstas/white folks angle. I'll pass this along as a low-end pick.
