Posted June 9, 201114 yr comment_5472846 Curtis finding a chain on New Jack turning pre-match pat down was great. This was a fun match. The Gangstas isolate Storm and cut off the ring on him. I was impressed with Mustapha's suplex and Lance took a pretty nutty bump over the top to the floor at one point. Really Mustapha was actively good in this match which was shocking as he handled the bulk of the control segment and had some solid offense in general. He also got in place great for the back thrust kick that led to the hot tag to Lee. Candido shows up and whacks Lee with a trash can amidst the chaos and Gangstas steal the win.
June 18, 201114 yr comment_5474367 It was kinda weird to see Storm and Mustafa carry the bulk of this. Storm took some impressive bumps, he also took some hard bumps. He made Mustafa look as good as I have ever seen him. This is the 2nd match in a row where Mustafa looked good. I think Storm's athleticism made Mustafa's suplex look that much more damaging. Lee did nothing of note here. I liked the finish. The work was good. I'll cosign it as a real low end nomination.
December 21, 201113 yr comment_5490666 SMW Tag Titles: The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa Saed) © vs. "Primetime" Brian Lee & Lance Storm (11/7/94) Interesting matchup here. Yeah this was the Lance/Mustafa show as they looked the best in the match with Lance being strong on selling and bumping especially for Mustafa who looked as good as ever here because of that. Lance takes punishment from D-Lo as well as Lee is basically an ornament on the apron not doing anything. Lance would finally get the hot tag to Lee who cleans house before the 4-way brawl ending up with Candido coming from under the ring with a trash can to hit Lee allowing him to get pinned. This was a fun performance by Lance and the best he has looked in SMW so I'll pass it forward as a low-end pick.
