The crowd was super hot for this. Boo and Corny are in Tracy's corner and New Jack has Mustapha and D-Lo. Smothers was moving around really well and hit some great offense early, including an excellent looking dropkick and a quality looking forearm off the ropes. New Jack does an awesome slick counter into a side walk slam out of an armbar and then does some shit talking before hitting a really good looking belly to belly for a near fall. They do a really good job milking in hope spots for Tracy here and new Jack is such a great heel that he radiates asshole in everything he does. The best example of this sees Jack going for another belly to belly but Tracy blocks and hits one of his own only to miss a follow up elbow. Just good teaser spots. Smothers hits a fucking SICK ddt off the ropes as a reset spot and Tracy takes back over. Tracy hits the jawjacker off the top and all hell breaks loose with D-Lo getting his ass kicked by Cornette, Kyle coming out and attacking Boo and the Gangstas double teaming Tracy behind the refs back leading to the finish. Post-match they overwhelm the faces, bury Corny in the X flag, bust open Boo, et. Good match, followed by a pretty great angle. Not as good as the New Southern Boys/Gangstas tag from a few weeks prior but still something for the set.

Boo & Corny are at ringside to counter Mustafa & D-Lo. The crowd is really hot here for Tracy as he dominates early and I loved Ross getting a crack in on WCW mistreating Ricky Steamboat here. Tracy looks good and Jack looks just as good on offense and this a well worked match with Tracy selling well for Jack's offense keeping the fans into it. Tracy would hit a big DDT coming off the ropes to regain the advantage before he would catch Jack with the Jawjacker even though he almost fell off the top rope. Everyone started brawling on the floor which allows Mustafa to attack Tracy so Jack could come off with a diving headbutt to win. The destruction continued afterwards as Boo juiced and Corny got buried under the X flag. Another damn good TV match and this moves forward.

As a package this was pretty great. Smothers was great leading Jack in a great t.v bout.
