Posted June 12, 201114 yr comment_5473187 There is a bunch of weird stuff in this where both guys didn't appear to be on the right timing. The pretty spots were really fucking pretty and some of the flubs worked okay but it was odd to see how "off" these two were in motion early on. Snow slows things down and works a pretty solid control segment on Brad with Brad selling his ass off and Snow hitting some nice spots, including a back breaker/gutbuster sequence. Snow gets some cheap shots in on the floor and hits a urange for a near fall. Nasty German from Snow who almost seemed to council Brad afterward to makes sure he hadn't killed him. Snow goes for a second German but Brad hits a forward roll for a near fall. Brad fires up and Snow pinballs around for him. brad hits some really stiff shots and Gordy shows up at ringside. Camera misses a missed sprinboard spot from Snow and Brad hits the Russian for the finish. The good stuff in this was pretty damn good, the bad stuff was questionable but not match killing.
December 25, 201113 yr comment_5490891 SMW Heavyweight Title: Brad Armstrong © vs. "Simply Sensational" Al Snow (9/5/95) Well here is the singles match let's see how it goes. Snow comes out firing away with some good punches but there are some blown spots here that looked pretty bad at times so it was taking away from the flow of the match as it seemed like they were starting to get going here comes a flub. Snow sends Brad to the floor and grabs a chair but Curtis takes it away from him so he just starts slapping Brad around before going back to the ring. Snow keeps up the pressure once Brad comes back in the ring and both men are really good in their roles here especially Brad who had some great facials. Snow is fluid as shit with a Uranage and a sweet German suplex then tries for another one but Brad would turn it into a forward roll for a nearfall which kickstarts his comeback. Brad fires away sending Snow to the floor but Gordy would show up with the SMW title which distracts Brad so Snow could sneak attack him but as he went for a springboard something happened and they made it sound like a botch leading to Brad hitting a russian legsweep to win. Damn this match was a enigma as when it was good it was damn good but there were some issues that detracts from it. I'll push it forward but I just don't know.
