White Boy talks about how he appreciates Budro's change of heart but says he can't accept him until Budro proves his change of heart is serious. EXTRA Finish of last weeks main event shown. Thugz promo. Dr. Tom loaded that boot and gave me my fourteenth concussion..Jesus. Budro promo. God damn Buddy is over as a babyface now. Budro does a hilarious Tommy Rich promo that sounds almost Dustyesque. Tommy Rich v. Flash Flannagan Rich complains of the Flash hair pull off the opening arm drag and of course pulls the hair the first chance he gets. This is actually pretty cool as they let Flash get some offense in and even Cornette is great at ringside putting him over just by bitching about him. Flash misses a second rope elbow and Rich drops an elbow on him. Rich gets real methodical and finally goes for a fall but Buddy comes out with his vest on and distracts him leading to Flash taking the fall. EXTRA Corny/Rich promo. Punisher wins a quick squash. Brad Armstrong promo. Headbangers/Gordy promo. Brad Armstrong v. Thrasher This is a good little match. I don't know that I totally bought into Thrasher's control segment, but it was fairly well worked one way or the other. Brad worked some nice hope spots from underneath and his selling was really the best part of the match. Thrasher ends up whiffing on a huge top rope elbow after a pump handle slam and then Brad takes over and hits his big dropkick for a near fall. Collison and a Russian legsweep finish. Brad is attacked post-match. Wolfman makes the save but the Bangers and Gordy overwhelm them. Corny/Bodies promo. DWB shows up and tries to rip the boot off of Pritchard. EXTRA Thugz win a squash. Thugz/Gibson promo. This is all setting up the coming Gibson heel turn. EXTRA Budro promo mocking Tommy Rich again with his vest on. EXTRA Robert Gibson v. Mosh This was another one of those SMW matches that was as much about the guys at ringside as the match. There was some good stuff in here and I was amazed to see Gibson hit a nice flying body press. Thugz interfere and help Gibson win. Pretty fun match actually. Corny/Bodies promo. Corny announces he is bringing a drill sergeant to help sure he can keep things in order. Sergeant Rock is his name..or her name...EXTRA Corny/Rich promo. Rich says he's going to end Flannagan's career. Tommy Rich v. Flash Flannagan Flannagan with an awesome full flip off of a back body drop attempt and then an enziguri. He goes for a flip senton but Rich moves and he takes a huge bump which Rich follows up with a nice suplex. Rich hits a DDT but Buddy comes out from the back with his vest again. Rich chases him around and gets counted out. EXTRA Bob Armstrong promo over the phone talking about the Gordy attack and his injury. Brad Armstrong/Wolfman promo. Terry Gordy v. Chris Michaels Gordy wins after a lariat Sandy Scott comes out and says they are going to have a match. Brad Armstrong v. Terry Gordy Show goes off the air while match is still on.
