Posted June 13, 201114 yr comment_5473222 Flash was really great in this. Early he was fun and hits an insane Asai moonsault to the floor which was certifiable by the standards of 95 Southern indys. Flash was also really great on the defensive here as he ran right through a Thrasher spinkick and took a top rope frankensteiner on the top of his fucking head like it was a leaping spike piledriver. Thrasher also hit a nice pump handle slam. Finish was a nice "surprise" crossbody off the top from Flash. This was basically a four or five spot match but those spots were so different and fresh for the time I feel like it is something that could fill in some gaps on a set.

How Flash didn't get a look by WCW around this time baffled me as he would've fit in good with the cruiserweights. Flash looks good to start and hits a nice version of the Asai Moonsault on Thrasher on the floor. Flash takes punishment well too as he is a good bumper making Thrasher's impact moves look fierce. Flash made Thrasher's top rope huracarana look sick as he just dropped right on the neck. Flash would hit a huge diving body press off the top rope to get the win in a very fun sprint. Wow this was a nifty TV match but a little on the short side. I'm on the border on this one.
