Badd Company v. Odyssey/Sean Baxter

Okay so Sean Baxter has the most outrageous 80's hair and get up I have EVER seen. He also appears to be coked out of his mind so he is really living the gimmick. Baxter is so excited to execute an armdrag here and ends up getting his ass kicked in short order. Man Badd Company's Hart Attack clothesline DESTROYS the Hart Foundation version. Kind of cool that they gave the scrubs a hot tag and it came off well with Odyssey running off a string of solid offense before dying on a missed crossbody and taking the superkick/German finish. I don't think there is really going to be a lot of room on this set for fun squashes but this was a fun squash.

Manny Fernandez v. Sonny Street

This sucked until Manny got pissed after a botched spot and crushed Street with the flying buritto and his crossbody off the ropes.

Wahoo McDaniel v. ? Stryker

Wahoo stiffs a jobber. It has it's moments what more can you say?

Wendi Richter v. Madusa

I enjoyed Madusa at times in this. Dug the grinding of Wendi's face into the mat, the hair pulling stuff et. Richter in control was not as fun though the powerbomb she hit right before Badd Company hit the ring to kick her ass was pretty insane. Seriously Badd Company really kick her ass. I've seen this already but still. Top Guns make the save. I could see the beatdown as an EXTRA

Post-match promo with Top Guns and Richter was funny.

Iron Sheik and Sgt. Slaughter promos. This is done weird as they alternate back and fourth from one to the other. Sgt. is talking about dedicating his inevitable victory to the hostages in Iran. EXTRA

Michael Hayes/Steve Cox v. Samoan Swat Team

There ppv match was pretty good so this could be fun. Hayes dancing around after every minor offensive victory early was good stuff and it is really amazing how great he was as a babyface too. Really just loved all this early stuff with Hayes punching Samu after a leapfrog attempt, stomping his face on an attempted drop down monkey flip, moonwalking to a massive pop, et. Hayes is even the star in the match when Cox is in the ring as his strutting around on the apron to get the crowd pumped, running in to crotch Samu as he tried to climb into the ring, et was all really engaging stuff that kept the match from grinding to a halt. Cox goes FIP after getting tripped off the ropes and then takes some nice quick bumps for big effect with Hayes once again working over time to keep the crowd involved. Cox gets fucking killed on a lariat for a near fall. Cool cut off spot with Cox avoiding another lariat and hitting the ropes only to get ripped down by his hair. Big problem with this match is that the SST work a nervehold as a base and while I am not totally averse to this it is not an option that is inspiring. Cox takes a nice double superkick, but Samu takes a big bump on a corner charge and Hayes gets the hot tag. Cool, Hayes hits a bulldog off the ropes! He goes for the pin but it's broken up with a diving headbutt and for some reason this gets thrown out. Post-match the teams brawl out of the building as the show goes off the air. This had a shit finish, but other than that I like it better than the ppv match and I liked the post-match brawl a good bit which puts it over the top as something worth considering.
