Sherri looked really excited to be there and the pre-lockup bullshit was as fun as you would expect out of a Buddy match but man these guys were working pretty loose. Kind of a weird match that went needlessly long and nothing of note really happened. Rose/Somers/Sherri post-match promo calling out the champs. Nick Bockwinkel v. Harry Davidson Bock won with a nice piledriver. Nick Bockwinkel promo holding his bullwhip and calling out Stan Hansen. EXTRA Col. Debeers v. Mike Richards Unfortunately this is not a young Kramer working Debeers. Anyway for such a long squash this was nowhere near brutal enough though the post-match Hall save was fun I guess. Curt Hennig/Mike Rotundo v. Larry Zbyszko/Mr. Go Mr. Go is amusing because he theoretically wrestles a "flashy" style but everything he does is slow motion. Seriously he has some nice counters but they are almost too deliberate for the style he is working. The crowd really comes unglued when Larry takes a bump face first into the top turnbuckle and then he runs over to Trongard and shit talks him. Rotundo working multiple nip up spots out of an armbar was surprising. Larry takes a sweet bump and gets tied in the ropes almost in a Boston Crab position off of a Hennig shot and the crowd explodes again. AWESOME spot with Larry hitting his back heel kick to Hennig off of a break and Hennig taking a great bump to the floor. This ends up with all hell breaking loose and a thrown out match. Larry promo.
