July 9, 201114 yr Author comment_5476249 The American Legion Building in Kennett, MO, will never be the same again. One of the damndest fights you'll ever see, as they brawl all over the building, making a huge mess, and leaving Jarrett in particular with some nasty gashes down his arm and on his back. Lawler attempts to shatter one of the Moondogs with part of a broken glass, and they hit each other with everything else that's not tied down. You know when Lawler is brawling, Coca Cola stuff gets damaged and he doesn't care that shit got real. Stiff as hell too. Total chaos. Let's hope they clued in the building owners ahead of time. About 10 minutes of footage.
July 10, 201114 yr comment_5476362 This is just a crazy brawl. Jarrett gets bloodied up in the shoulder area and back. Buddy Wayne kept trying to get the fans back but it didn't work. Lawler almost takes out a dad and kid with a garbage can.
July 11, 201114 yr comment_5476523 This is another in the continuation of Fuller & Jarrett vs Moondogs brawls, but this feud has been the best thing on the show for the past couple of weeks. Lawler comes out to help the Fuller and Jarrett team, and Fuller just disappears to the back. This is an awesome, wild brawl in the same vain as the original concession stand brawl between Latham & Ferris and Lawler & Dundee. They show a good 10 minutes of footage and it is tremendous stuff.
August 3, 201114 yr comment_5478652 This was just a wild kick ass brawl. I loved Lawler swing for the fences with the broom.

Broken Glass, Blood, and Screaming Kids. Jarrett's arm cut was nasty, I think it was from the lighttubes busting over his head. Not sure though. Brutal & tons of fun.
July 10, 201213 yr comment_5509773 When they first start making their way over to the concession stand I couldn't help put notice someone on the ground in the hallway. I think they were running for their lives. That was incredibly to watch to just see everything get thrown around and each other. Everyone was getting blindsided by projectiles. Lawler completely launches at chair at one point like a spear. Jarrett's back was all kinds of messed up. Great stuff.
August 26, 201213 yr comment_5513478 This is awesome, although I was left wondering what happened to Robert Fuller. Just a wild and bloody brawl, with Lawler swinging the broom like he was swinging for a home run.
September 18, 201213 yr comment_5514802 This was easily the most entertaining thing for me from the USWA this year. Really wild and dangerous. Unfortunately it wasn't an official match so I can't rate it, but still lots of fun.
February 6, 201312 yr comment_5533732 Insane and spectacular fun. Lawler seems to replace Fuller early on, but who cares. This makes some of the early 80s concession stand brawls look like amateur hour and for those who hadn't seen much Memphis, changes the narrative about ECW being all that innovative in its time. Jarrett gets some nasty cuts and everyone is lucky if that's the most damage that came out of this. MEMPHIS! ***3/4
July 3, 201312 yr comment_5549774 Lawler has now interjected himself into the Moondogs feud, and one of the craziest brawls ever results, with trash cans thrown all over the place and Lawler whipping brooms around like they're oversized ninja stars. Between the food and drinks getting spilled and the cuts, this brawl seemed like a rash of broken ankles and infections waiting to happen. One of my great wrestling regrets is never seeing anything like this in a live setting.
April 15, 201411 yr comment_5599324 Which is better? This one here or the Fantastics-Bodies backstage brawl in Knoxville?
December 11, 20159 yr comment_5714768 Let me be the wet blanket here. Oh, this was every bit as wild and crazy as advertised, and if this had been a one-of-a-kind match it would have been a candidate for Match of the Year, because all four of these guys busted their asses to put on a show the likes of which Kennett, Missouri had never seen before nor again, at least I hope not. The problem is, it's not one of a kind. No matter how well done it was (and it was, believe me), we've already seen at least two brawls just like this at the MSC and I'm sure there were countless more around the Memphis loop. Just how good are the Dogs as a regular tag team? We don't know, because they haven't been one yet. There's no build, no progression. Let me put it like this: Imagine what it would be like if every match between Magnum and Tully leading up to Starrcade '85 had been an "I Quit" match. Furthermore, imagine that Tully had only wrestled "I Quit" matches on television for six to eight weeks leading up to Starrcade. Would the Magnum match have been as memorable, even if it was exactly the same as it turned out to be? I'm betting not. Where are the cage matches, the first blood, the bunkhouse matches, the dog collar matches? Anything but these ECW-style bouts where they use everything that's not nailed down because Larry Latham's too damn fat to work regular matches, which I suspect is a lot of the reason for these brawls. I wish these guys would do something else in the same way I wish Abby would do something else besides maul people with forks. Not that watching Abby wield a fork isn't somewhat entertaining, but when you know well in advance that that's all there is and there ain't no more, you tend to think ahead to the rest of the disc you're watching, and that's a shame. I'm guessing Fuller ran off Richard Lee at some point just after the footage started, and that's why Lawler takes his place. Godspeed, Stud, you were a treat. See you and Jimmy (Golden) in SMW. I don't doubt that the fans were running and ducking for their lives, especially if they'd never heard of the concession stand brawls Memphis had done in the past. I didn't catch a lot of the moments you guys did, mostly because the camera work and Corey's announcing made the whole thing seem (suitably) chaotic. Maybe I'll catch some of them when I eventually get around to a rewatch. Was all of this done after a scheduled tag title match? Corey talked as if it was, in which case I commend Jeff and the Dogs for their superior stamina as well as their courage.
December 22, 20168 yr comment_5779685 #345 This was all right, but at the end of the day it was 10 min footage of a backstage brawl. I was surprised by how highly Loss rated this.
August 20, 20178 yr comment_5811228 Oh man do I love this. This has that out of control brawl with no care whatsoever for the building that is endearing. After seeing hundreds of brawls to the back now, I used to relish them because of the unpredictability but too many times, the workers worked extra light to not damage anything structurally. These four gave no fucks about that. The gashes and scars on Jarrett's back put that over and Lawler's glass shot looks so believable with Spot only moving right at the nick of time. **** (8.1)
March 8, 20187 yr comment_5834862 Insane, crazy brawl in the best way possible. I love the couple of camera shots where a garbage can or other weapon comes flying in from nowhere.
May 23, 20187 yr comment_5850697 I almost went to this show in Kennett. My wife & I just divorced and I decided to go to the Eagles club and party & chase women instead! I was wishing the next day I had gone to this show after I watched the Saturday morning show & they showed the tape!
