Posted June 18, 201114 yr comment_5473849 Marty Jannetty v. Chris Curtis Bizarre match. Jannetty has a huge shiner. There are times when they are visibly calling spots. Curtis - who is usually one of the most uncoordinated guys I've ever seen in the ring - is actually an excellent base here for Marty's flashy offense. Curtis also gets a lengthy control segment which is really shitty. This was just - weird. Larry Z promo. He interrupts Marty and fans start throwing shit at him as he climbs into the ring. He is back from his suspension and is ranting and raving about conspiracies against him. EXTRA Nord The Barbarian/Boris Zhukov v. Spike Jones/Chris Fasset At one point in this match Jones forgets how to take an Irish Whip. Seriously. AWA jobbers from this period were unbelievable. Well this went on forever and sucked. Adnan promo Scott Hall v. Earthquake Ferris This is a battle between two of the greenest guys on tv from this era. This turned out to be a not half bad big man v. big man match. No great spots, but well executed stuff and the second rope elbow finish was kinda cool. Hall promo Donna narrates some weird video package The same Brody/Blackwell/Gagne/Adnan angle we already have airs again.
