August 1, 201114 yr Author comment_5478464 Dusty interviews Arn Anderson, who talks about going after the world title. This could have been an interesting storyline had they stuck with it, but I understand why they didn't. Arn gives a typically good promo, saying mostly the same stuff he's said before.
September 3, 201114 yr comment_5481779 Another gold star interview from Arn. Still when I watched this stuff originally I was like their is no way Arn is going to beat Sting.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_5514182 Arn wants to abandon the tag team ranks and go after Sting. Pretty good promo. I may not believe he could beat Sting but I'd root for him.
May 1, 201312 yr comment_5543681 AA setting his sights on Sting. I'm not complaining, but it seems like they went to a lot more trouble to set up Arn as an interim challenger for a tv show or 2 given how comparably little they'd do for some big programs. But its Arn on the stick, so I'll take it.
August 3, 201312 yr comment_5554624 Arn was never going to light the world on fire as even a quickie house show main event single, but in a perfect world this match would have co-headlined a Clash.
August 31, 201312 yr comment_5559645 Nice promo from Arn, making the Sting challenge out to be a big deal. To bad it didn't go anywhere.
February 21, 20169 yr comment_5728182 I'm surprised they're pushing this as hard as they are when Sting/Vader is where they've placed their bets. Maybe they didn't know how Vader would get over and needed a backup plan in case he fizzed at the gate. At least Arn was a known name who they knew could give Sting a run for his money until they could set up another challenger for him. There's still a slight hint of animosity between Arn and Dusty, as Arn accuses Dusty of trying to get inside his head. It's subtle stuff, but a nice nod to history nonetheless.
April 30, 20205 yr comment_5916106 I liked Arn telling Dusty off as well. We had heard the rest before.
November 15, 20213 yr comment_5968300 Arn talks about being focused on Sting and winning the World title for himself, despite this airing the same night as Beach Blast where Arn is in a 6-Man Tag. Arn had a two house show matches against Sting shortly after this but unfortunately this didn't really go anywhere.
