August 10, 201114 yr Author comment_5479234 They have MADE IT TO THE BIG TIME of the NAWA -- Boston Bad Boy (Tony Rumble) and Tazmaniac, whose gimmick is pretty hilarious at this point.
August 21, 201114 yr comment_5480301 I think Taz also had one match in USWA around this time. I always liked Tony Rumble and the Brotherhood.
September 16, 201213 yr comment_5514671 Taz was sporting John Tenta's Shark face paint. This was pretty funny seeing Taz like this.
September 18, 201213 yr comment_5514809 I can just imagine all the kids pestering their parents for a pet Tazmaniac. He was cute!
July 10, 201312 yr comment_5550716 Tony Rumble delivers promo with Taz on a leash. Taz looks like a mini. Not exactly the human suplex machine from Red Hook.
August 16, 201312 yr comment_5556646 They needed to invest in either a stepstool for Taz or a trench for Tony Rumble. BADNESS RULES US SUPREMELY--it sure does.
April 13, 201411 yr comment_5598999 At one point in IWCCW, there were two Tazmaniacs. Noga & Mako. Don't ask me which one was which. I don't know. Their theme music was "Breed" by Nirvana. I guess even in Cartoon Tazmania, they were into the grunge revolution.
March 7, 20169 yr comment_5731857 Rumble isn't too bad here, but if anyone had told me that the sawed-off runt with the facepaint would become one of the most over wrestlers in the sport by the end of the decade, I'd have laughed in their faces. He looks like something that even Vince would have sense enough to turn down. Is this the same Carolina-based outfit that guys like Ricky Steamboat and Robert Fuller wrestled in for about five minutes back in '90?
March 7, 20169 yr comment_5731908 No, this was an indy based out of Mt. Vernon, New York run by Tony Capone. It lasted six weeks on Sports Channel but did feature the return of (kind of) national TV of Craig DeGeorge, the debut of Joey Styles plus the Lightning Kid. It was perfectly okay.
February 28, 20214 yr comment_5940534 Screamy promo, badness flowing through veins, goofy early Taz....this kinda hurt, but had humor to it. I'm wondering if Tony Rumble and Ultimate Warrior could have cut intense but completely unintelligible promos on each other at any point in their careers. Would have at least been semi-entertaining.
