September 1, 201114 yr Author comment_5481469 Pillman and Paul E. try to recruit Tom Zenk to the dark side, but nothing comes of it. Z-Man was lame.
September 13, 201114 yr comment_5482667 Yeah I'm surprised Z-Man lasted so long in WCW. I guess they paid him well. Paul E with Pillman would have been interesting.
November 4, 201113 yr comment_5487495 I like the Pillman/Dangerously dynamic. Zenk comes across so lame here.
July 27, 201213 yr comment_5511389 Why was Z-Man employed for so long ? Maybe because he was a pretty good worker that was useful as a utility guy on the lower undercard. I think Zenk gets a bad rep and I don't get why. He wasn't overly charismatic, and but he delivered his share of pretty good stuff in the ring over the years.
September 6, 201312 yr comment_5560873 Nice continuity, acknowledging the past partnership. Zenk declares Paul E. "is the epitome of bad attitude, LOSER." Pillman & Paul E. is presumably another alliance like Paul E./Hayes that didn't go anywhere.
October 2, 201311 yr comment_5565780 Pillman before facing Sting in the King of Cable tourney. Dangerously here looks like Pillman's manager but I don't recall that going anywhere. Pillman has a Porsche, new house on the hills and harem of beautiful women. Zenk is not friends with the mic.
May 4, 20169 yr comment_5750985 Pillman as a possible new recruit to the Dangerous Alliance had wings, but Watts was apparently so determined to bury both him and Heyman that nothing came of it. What a shame. I liked that Pillman actually called Zenk Tom here. WCW was so determined to make Zenk some kind of larger-than-life hero that they ignored his humanity in Vince-like fashion at times. Zenk really sounded stilted here. It was like Pillman was trying to have a conversation with his friend and Zenk was trying to remember a scripted promo, which he may very well have been. That really took the juice out of this segment, as did knowing in advance that it would lead to absolutely nothing.
