September 7, 201114 yr Author comment_5482063 Windham is supposed to face Dustin Rhodes. Barry trash talks him but Steamboat, with his hair looking like he just got out of bed, comes out and calls out Windham. Windham and Rhodes end up brawling in a hot segment. A shame this feud was cut short for whatever reason.
October 23, 201113 yr comment_5486525 Man Windham is just so much better as a heel. Nice little brawl with Dustin in his cowboy hat.
July 31, 201213 yr comment_5511627 Barry trash talks him but Steamboat, with his hair looking like he just got out of bed, Hey, Steamboat just had a tag match against Eaton & Austin. Barry was a really good face, but I agree he's even better as a heel. Steamboat kicking ass his always cool, it contrasts with his "family man" white-meat babyface character.
September 30, 201311 yr comment_5565393 Good stuff all-around. Steamboat and Windham had a hot confrontation for a few seconds but Rhodes blew Ricky out of the water.
November 26, 201311 yr comment_5574338 Dustin not there for a match with Windham, who calls him out. Steamboat is out to confront Windham and they both take up chairs. Then Dustin is in from behind and starts brawling with Windham while Steamboat & Douglas out watching. Hot, brief action while Rhodes was there. Should've built to a series of PPV matches.
May 16, 20169 yr comment_5753008 When I originally commented on this, I hadn't seen Windham's turn. Now I have, and this whole thing obviously makes more sense. Barry was at home as the arrogant heel calling out the young punk Dustin, and I loved Steamer jumping to Dustin's defense, in a sense paying him back for Dustin's attempt to save him from Barry's wrath at the Clash. The brief brawl looked really good. and it seemed like Dustin-Windham was going to be one of WCW's hottest feuds heading into '93. I can't wait to find out why it never really happened.
