I actually liked this a good bit. This was wrestled at an unusually fast pace for a Larry Z match and on top of that almost every spot looked really slick and/or really stiff. Larry is not a guy you normally think of as a great striker but his shots looked pretty nasty here. Larry took a nice dropkick, they did some fun fast pace stuff early, a really good looking sunset flip spot, et. My favorite spot was Larry's flash spinning back kick and a really excellent spot with Larry going for a neckbreaker and Snow dropping out on it and hitting a backslide for a near fall. Larry gets frustrated and tosses Snow to the floor, posting him and getting DQ'ed. Lame finish but the work was good enough to at least consider it.

AWA International TV Title Tournament: "Jammin" Mitch Snow vs. "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko (9/12/87)

This has a 10:00 time limit so these guys don't have long to work and Larry doesn't have time to stall around. They grapple around a bit to start but Snow is pesky and forces Larry to step his game up. Mitch keeps trying to put Larry away with cradles pissing Larry off and he works him over before throwing him to the floor where he would post him for the DQ. This was fun for what it was but I'm leaning no on the nomination.
