Wahoo McDaniel v. Tony Leone

Wahoo won with a suplex here which seemed an odd choice and was strangely an upgrade from his usual finisher, a chop to the chest.

Nick Kiniski v. Jim Evans

This was interesting only because of Madusa's outfit. I know I've used that line before, but I'm serious.

Curt Hennig promo. Man Hennig has great glasses. Hennig denies a relationship with Dick Slater which is an angle I have missed I guess.

Dick Slater v. Chris Zarna

Hennig is in Slater's corner. Slater kind of looked good and kind of looked like shit here. His sprint across the ring was comically awful that's for sure.

Jerry Lawler/Bill Dundee v. Rick Gantner/Mike Richards

I really liked Dundee in this. His switcharoo monkey flip ruled, Gantner took a good bump for his dropkick and his uppercuts looked nice. Strange finish as Lawler hit a piledriver than stood up Richards, tagged Dundee and had him hit a sunset flip for the pin

Paul E. Dangerously promo.

Greg Gagne v. Pete Sanchez

One cool spot at least.

Dick Slater promo. He basically stonewalls Nelson

Curt Hennig v. Mitch Snow

Hennig was so great at working opening exchanges at this point that you could plug him against anyone at this stage and it would work. Snow was no exception and the opening stuff was really solid with Hennig's bump off the dropkick being the high point. Hennig ends up coming back into the ring and dropping into an amateur posture demanding Snow go to the mat with him. Hennig has to scramble outside to the floor as the crowd pops and Slater (who is in Hennig's corner) flips his shit. Snow drops into the downed position and naturally Hennig kicks him in the ribs and takes over. I really liked Hennig standing on the back of his head and twisting his face into the mat. Hennig goes to a Boston Crab which was a cool deviation. Snow's initial comeback was a little flat but Hennig took another great dropkick and I liked the spot with Snow escaping the "slam jam" by barely getting a foot on the rope. Hennig ends up whipping Snow into the ref hard as fuck. Then he ends up countering with a huge crotch shot on the ropes and "steals a win" when the ref is revived. Probably the weakest Hennig title match I've seen so far, but still good enough to toss on the dock.
