I figured Gantner might get a chance here. Instead this was an extended squash and frankly neither guy looked that good. Kevin Kelly promo Another highlight package narrated by Nelson of the years big events. Original Midnight Express v. Mitch Snow/Alan West Midnights and Paul E worked well together here. The drop down spot with Snow decking the apron man and the Paul chase spot were cool and got the crowd interested in the match. There was some cool stuff with Snow holding onto an armbar on Rose and then the Midnights take over on West's leg. The work is hardly bad here, but West just isn't compelling at all as a FIP and there really is no feeling of urgency here. I admit that I marked out when Pat Tanaka of all people hit the ring for the save but overall this was a flat match. Soldad/Sheik promo.
