Handicap Match: Bullet Bob Armstrong vs. "Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch & Jim Cornette (3/12/94)

Finally I get to Murdoch's stuff here. Bullet dancing with a middle aged woman at ringside was great. Bullet works a headlock early with Murdoch being fun selling it. There is a really screwed up atomic drop spot here that Murdoch sells like he just got a knife stuck up his ass taking the heat off of Bob and as this was going on, Corny distracted Mark Curtis allowing Murdoch to use a foreign object on Bob. Corny comes in now to get his offense since Bob is down with Bullet fighting back so Murdoch comes in to cut him off and then he went on offense. Murdoch throws some awesome punches here before Corny comes in for more with him dropping some forearms before missing a big elbow smash. Bullet then fires up and takes it to everyone before Corny missed a punch hitting Murdoch then Bullet smashed their heads together and pinned Corny for the win. Was this a great match nope but it was a blast and I'm pushing it forward.

I really liked this and would put it down as solid to strong nomination. I don't think you could work this match on Raw, but here it worked out perfect. The whole working the headlock was just old school fun. Murdoch was great with throwing punches, elbows kicks etc. He also threw some real nasty looking chair shots to Armstrong's throat area. Bob was great here in his selling and how much the fans love him. Corny was great in his sneaky ass role, and his stuff looked good. I also loved the finish. It's a shame the crowd wasn't bigger for this, because it was a heck of a card. Even with a lack of crowd the matches were heated, and the wrestlers worked hard.
