October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484839 oh man check out Todd's RAW review. He does the whole thing in sarcastic praising tone. Who thought it was come to this?
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484845 Setting aside Punk making Naylor's *life*, the show reads like the drizzling shits. John
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484857 I can only imagine Naylor's reaction. But, Triple H is so pulling a Hulk Hogan.
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484867 I just love the idea of someone trying to explain Rob Naylor to Vince. "You'll love him Vince, if we bring back the midgets he can be their announcer."
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484881 Hearing the reports, I'm just glad I'm not a WWE fan. HHH was getting on my nerves as soon as 2000. He had vastly overstayed his welcome by the mid-00's. It's 2011 and WWE is the HHH show. It's just sad.
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484895 I think it's amusing how Raw has become D & D advertising agency. (If you get that joke, you rock.)
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484898 I think it's closer to Trapped in the Closet myself. We just need Hornswoggle to shit his pants for the transformation to be complete.
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484903 I think it's amusing how Raw has become D & D advertising agency. (If you get that joke, you rock.) I love Courtney Thorne-Smith and Heather Locklear, but even they couldn't keep me watching that show. John
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484905 And for an analogy, I think the WWE is closer to Profit with Trip as a vastly less interesting and less talented Jim. The McMahon's are the Gracens. Now I'd have to figure out who Bobbi is... John
October 11, 201113 yr comment_5484907 How much worse do things have to get until we start comparing Raw to Russo-era Nitro? Surely, Kermit going over Del Rio on Halloween would garner a blurb in USA Today and maybe a .2 ratings spike the following week.
October 12, 201113 yr comment_5484957 As weird as it sounds, even though it completely killed Punk's character over the past few months I think the way he's positioned the past few shows is a good sign for his standing in the company. The WWE WANTS their top babyfaces to be retarded goofy kiss assess, so that they're even bothering to rebuild him in their own image of what a top guy should be is a good thing...sorta. He's never gonna have Cena or Orton's spot, HHH is on another lvl and he'll be below Taker whenever he comes back but I see him being booked like this as meaning he's now got a pretty solid standing as the next most highest guy after those dudes which is the best anyone's gonna get. Also, Meltzer is claiming that JR legit didn't know he was going to be fired when it happened. I find that really hard to believe myself so i'm taking it with a grain of salt but if true that's one the shittiest things the companies ever done. No reason not to tell the guy except just to be assholes. Hard to feel sorry for JR since at this point he's like an addict who just keeps coming back for one more fix but still, it was a dick move to do.
October 12, 201113 yr comment_5484962 Jim Ross asked by WWE.com reporter "Is it true that John Laurinaitis looks more attractive than you on television?" as he walks out after Raw. Sounds like another nice hometown surprise for him.
October 12, 201113 yr comment_5484967 The thing that hit me at the end of this show was how boring it all was. The announcers are going on and on about how crazy and exciting this shit is, and I'm just bored by it. This whole thing should've been exciting and interesting. Tons of guys walking out. The show in limbo. How can they make it work? Instead, it was so dull I wondered why I bothered watching. I recently watched the WCW Nitro dvd. For all the issues with that promotion, they really made the early NWO stuff seem chaotic. They didn't have a camera that just happened to be filming something happening. They would get word of something happening, and send a camera back to shoot it. Little stuff like that. That's what WWE should have at least been trying to do. Make things chaotic. What will happen? Hell, we didn't even see the dudes outside until Ace let them back in.
October 12, 201113 yr comment_5484971 I was rolling my eyes at how Miz and Truth worked their first match back on the show. After doing an angle like they did at HIAC, working a traditional old-style tag with holds to build heat for a hot tag seemed out of place. It seems like a wild brawl would have been more in context.
October 12, 201113 yr comment_5484997 That's a long staple in wrestling that goes back years where you can have these violent angles and then when they get in the ring they start with a tieup.

I actually agree with this. The fact that Punk is starting to act like a traditional WWF/E babyface probably means he's going to be hovering around the top for the rest of his time in the company. I can't remember if it was in the WON or Torch but he is scheduled to get a substantial push in the fall/winter months. Yes it sucks for his character but that's how Vince wants his babyfaces to act
October 13, 201113 yr comment_5485459 Naylor midget jokes... Lame.Ah, it's all with love. Rob's a great guy. He's probably the most fun person I've ever sat with at a wrestling show.

It seems like a wild brawl would have been more in context. It even started before the match, really. Here are The Miz & R-Truth, the big "conspiracy" victims. Fired by Triple H. Fined $250,000 dollars each for their actions. Assaulted WWE superstars to close a WWE PPV before surrendering and being arrested. Then being attacked by Triple H while defenseless, the COO of WWE. Making YouTube videos about how they're going to sue WWE. Then Johnny Ace is the new GM & says "Hey, you're rehired. Glad we talked out that lawsuit." and they still come out to their old entrance, rapping & saying "you suck" like nothing changed or had happened at all. That whole entire show was fucked. From Rosa Mendez botching standing in the goddamn corner, to Mark Henry wrestling Randy Orton again after they had both just cut promos about how they were moving on from each other. EVERYTHING was fucked. It was awful.
October 14, 201113 yr comment_5485835 WWE CEO Vince McMahon was reportedly sick with flu-like symptoms at TV tapings earlier this month, which some people in WWE believe affected his work and caused concern for his health. Even returning to TV on Monday's Raw, McMahon did not seem like himself, as he showed more signs of aging and did not have the trademark swagger/bravado.
